In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] Password and translation plugin problemHi @walkingcap ,
We have created a demo page using the TranslatePress plugin. Could you please check if it works on your end? We have set the main language to English and Japanese as the secondary language. The password successfully unlocks the protected form in both languages without any issues.
Test Page: https://preventdirectaccess.com/demo/demo-intergration-with-translatepress-plugin/
Test Password: testThis issue might be related to caching or a potential conflict. It would be great if you could create a staging site so that we can investigate the issue further.

In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] Hide other content after unlock? (Elementor)Hi @mkbejoynt ,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, we don’t currently support hiding the second element after the protected content is unlocked.
However, you can consider using the
hidden_form_textattribute if both elements are protected and you want to display content based on the password the user enters. For example, you can create two protected sections for two types of users:
- The first section is unlocked with the password “type1.”
- The second section is unlocked with the password “type2.”
Note: This feature is only available in the PPWP Pro plugin.

Test Passwords:
type1,type2,type3Note: For a third password, “type3,” I set the value as empty to hide any information initially. However, when the user enters “type3,” it will unlock and display the content for type3.

In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] Password and translation plugin problemHi @walkingcap ,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
To assist you better, could you please:
- Provide us with a sample protected page and a test password for us to review (for both the English page and the page in the other language).
- Which translation plugin are you using?
It’s also possible that the passwords for the English page and the other language page are different. Could you kindly check the backend to confirm the passwords for both pages?
Awaiting your reply.

In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] importing and restoring passwords warningsHi @alegira ,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please try deactivating/uninstalling the plugin and then reactivating/reinstalling it to see if that resolves the issue?
It’s also possible that there may be a conflict with another plugin. You might want to temporarily disable all other plugins, then re-enable the PPWP Lite plugin only to check if it works correctly. If the issue is gone, you can re-activate other plugins.
Awaiting your reply.

In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] Issue with codeshi @lasse98 ,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
As you described, this appears to be a cache issue. When you protect a page, it should not be cached. If the page is cached, when someone uses a password to access it, the content will be cached and displayed directly to anyone instead of showing the the password form until the cache expires.
Could you please follow the document linked below to exclude the cookies from the cache or exclude your protected page from the cache, and check if it works?

Thank you for the information.
Could you please help test protecting a page/post then use a password and checking if it works?
Additionally, could you share with us the hosting server and cache server you are using? Could you also help exclude the protected page (https://www.videnskabsklubben.dk/download-materiale-kontaktpersoner/) from the cache please?
