Hi @matthensley
>>are you suggesting that the core functionality of uploading files to S3 now requires the plugins you indicated?<<
Yes, that is correct. You need our paid plugin PDA Gold and PDA S3 extension to upload files to S3. The combination can also help you sync any WordPress media files to Amazon S3 with just one click. You can also set it to automatically remove these files from your server once they’re synced to your S3 bucket.
It can also automatically replace the old file URLs in your content with the new S3 URLs. And in addition, our plugin can help you Protect Your Digital Files on Amazon S3 Bucket.
If you have any questions about the two plugins, please contact us via email for faster and more convenient service at support(at)wpfolio.com

You can hide the header and footer from the Additional CSS in the WordPress Customizer. First of all, navigate to Appearance >> Customize from your admin dashboard. Then open Additional CSS section and start adding custom style.
You can add the link button in the Description form.

Please ensure that your plugin is updated to the latest version. You can use the following shortcode to display sitewide protection form in your content
[ppwp_sitewide]
Please try and let us know if that does not help.

Hello @gkhillboro,
The search engine indexed the URLs before the file was protected.
Use the Google Search Console (previously known as Google Webmaster Tools) to request the removal of the old URL from Google’s search index. This will prompt Google to re-crawl your website and update its search results accordingly.
You can utilize the Redirection plugin to redirect old URLs to new ones.
For more detailed information, you can refer to the following link: https://preventdirectaccess.com/docs/blocks-google-search-indexing/Feel free to reach back should you need further assistance. You can contact us at support(at)wpfolio.com
Hello @gkhillboro,
Thanks for your response. It seems like the URL you shared is, before the file was protected. As the URL will change once the file is protected along with the location.
Can you try to protect the file again after unprotecting it and then share the URL?
