Hey @shn1957
I just double-checked that and you can send a ticket without having made a purchase. Please try that or send the URL here — there should be a place to add it in this ticket.
Please let me know when you have a moment.
Hi @shn1957
Thank you for reaching out about this. If you want to send the URL of the site, we can take a look and see if that’s something we can help with. If you’d like to send this information privately, please contact us with a link to this forum thread here: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/contact/

Hey @woodchuckarts
Thank you for reaching out about this! By default, the images link to the listing when clicked. Have you customized anything about this display?
Hi @swcomm
Thanks for getting back to me on this. It sounds like this may be possible with a template override, but we don’t have specific instructions for doing that. It may require customizing the plugin to get what you need.
Customizing the plugin comes with its own risks and complications–like the fact that any changes you make can break other aspects of the plugin and any issues you have need to be tested against an unmodified plugin for support.
If you’d like to proceed with that and have the right skill set, you can learn more about that here: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/knowledge-base/general-customization-guide/
Hi Javi,
Thank you for reaching out about this here. The best way to do something like this is to use SQL, which we have documented here: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/knowledge-base/delete-all-listings-sql/

Thanks for reaching out here and for the suggestion! This is something we can consider doing in the future, but it’s not allowed in the plugin right now.
We don’t typically provide assistance for custom code changes, but here’s an article to help you if you’d like to look into the code we have documented: http://awpcp.com/documentation/customization-guide/

Hi @swcomm
Thank you for reaching out about this.
There is a setting in the Form Field settings that will replace that URL with text — is that what you need? If so, we would like to troubleshoot this issue with you further.
Please contact us with a link to this forum thread here: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/contact/
Thank you for reaching out about this and I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with this!
One thing that might help quickly would be to reset your Permalinks after making those changes. In WordPress, go to Settings > Permalinks, then press save changes (don’t make any changes) and see if that helps.
You should be able to get things working properly with those choices.
Please try that and let me know if you run into more issues.
Hey @shn1957
I’m sorry that you ran into issues with this. I see that the ticket is marked resolved — were you able to find the issue? Please let me know if you need further assistance with this!
Hi @prince701
I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with this!
This is a common error message and is typically due to something wrong with the data in the CSV file. You can check to be sure that your headings match exactly the labels in the plugin, and that your file is saved in a CSV UTF-8 format; that takes care of the problem 9 times out of ten. The other issue would be if you have fields that are required that don’t have any data in them — that can cause issues with the import.
If you’ve checked those things and are still having issues, could you please provide a few things for me?
I will need a copy of the CSV file you are trying to import. I’ll also need a screenshot of your form fields page. You can find the form fields page by going to Directory > Directory Content > Form Fields.
We also have a Troubleshooting Guide available that may cover this issue.
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, can you send the requested information to us? Please contact us with a link to this forum thread here: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/contact/
Hi @claudiaiw Thanks so much!

In reply to: [AWP Classifieds] View categories page not loadingYes, that is the one. When you save it, save it separately as two different files after doing the translation. You will not save it again as a .pot file, but as a .po file and again as a .mo file.
I hope that helps clarify!
Hooray! 🙂
Okay, that’s the correct field. By Default, it’s called the Long Description field, but it’s likely that the name was changed. You should see the setting for the shortcodes when you click edit.
Hey @composing2
I’m sorry that wasn’t clear! If you go to Directory > Directory Content > Form Fields find the Description field — it will be the one with (as content) after the name. Then click edit to see the settings for that field.
That should work — I downloaded that plugin and tested it on a test site and the coupons show up!
Please try that and let me know if you run into more issues.
