Thanks for posting your question here.
Some things like this are covered in your theme settings. For example, the Astra theme lets me customize how custom post types are displayed, so you might dig deep in your theme settings on this one.
You should be able to remove the featured image in the post itself, as that is a WordPress default and there is no CSS class to remove it only from Business Directory Plugin listings. Again, your theme may have settings to override that.
There are advanced techniques in CSS to remove these things, but providing those is beyond the scope of support we can offer here. I would recommend searching the support docs for the theme you are using to find those site-wide settings to see how to remove them on custom post types only.

Business Directory Plugin is split into two types of modules–the lite plugin, available on WP.org for free, and the premium packages, which include various modules that add additional functionality and can be purchased from us. The lite plugin always stays the same, regardless of whether you have purchased the premium packages.

Currently, AWPCP supports PayPal, Stripe, PayFast, and Authorize.net. We don’t yet have compatibility with things like WooCommerce or Clover. However, if you have the development skills, you could use the authorize.net gateway to model a new one that would support that. Sorry for any confusion about this. You don’t have to start from scratch to update the file — if you follow the directions in the article, it will only update the strings that were added or changed in the latest release.

The developer also said this: “The “Return to Directory” string used to have a left arrow in it and we removed it for last release. That changed translation files so the string should be translated again in .po and .mo files. We are looking for simplicity, in future versions it should be reduced to just one string to translate.”

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Let me run this by the developers to see what the issue may be here. Have you updated your translation file recently?
Please keep in mind that with each release, we add, edit or remove strings in the plugin, and as a result, those things are changed in the translation file. If you are using a translation file, you should update your translation files with EACH upgrade of the plugin.

To answer your question, this is somewhat possible 🙂
You can hide all of the fields in the excerpt view of the listing by changing a setting in the form fields. Go do Directory > Manage Form Fields and editing each field. Deselect “Display this value in post excerpt view.”
That leaves you with the title of the listing and the logo, or thumbnail for the listing.
You will need to use some custom CSS to hide the “view” button, but the logo, if you click it, will only open a larger version of the image. The title is clickable, though, and will take you to the full listing.
I hope that helps. We don’t have an exact setting for this, so it’s obviously a workaround. If there’s something else I can help you with, please let me know.

Making this field private gives admins only the ability to see the field. We don’t have a way to restrict this to other users at this time.

Thanks for checking that. The developer said: We do have two instances of text for the Advanced Search buttons. Perhaps the customer needs to scan the plugin again using WPML to update strings.
