Hi @mousai
Thanks for contacting me here. I’ve responded to your email, but I will post the answer here as well for reference.
Right now, we don’t have a numerical field type. That’s something we can consider adding in the future, but it’s not available today. I can certainly see how that would be useful. I’ll submit this for consideration, but I don’t have a timeline as to when it will be available.
As a workaround, you could create a field or tag for this and use options such as price ranges — e.g. “Under $10”, “$10-$25”, etc.
If there’s something else I can help you with, please let me know.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AWP Classifieds] do not receive any emailHi @cgauthey
I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with this!
For email issues with the plugin, it’s usually best to verify some things about your server, because in our experience, email problems stem from the server configuration more than anything.
Here’s an article about email delivery that you should try, including a plugin to install to track the outgoing email to confirm that it’s being sent: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/knowledge-base/understanding-and-fixing-email-problems/
Once you confirm that, it means that the email is either failing to be delivered by the server or something outside of the plugin. We use the standard mechanism for email sending through WP, but once it’s sent, it’s outside of our control.
I’d recommend going with the login plugin first to see if that helps. .
Hi @palkat
Thanks for reporting this. I have been able to replicate this issue and have added it to our bug list to fix for a future release. We don’t yet have an estimate on when this issue will be resolved, so it may not be right away. I think you will be fine on 5.8.2 until we do another release.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Thanks for your patience!
Hi @dhenders
Thanks for getting in touch! You can always email us directly at support@businessdirectoryplugin.com.
We do have a ZIP Search Module that does exactly that. It’s part of our Pro Package which you can learn more about here: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/pricing/
@confusedneedhelp This fix will be included in version 5.8.3 – please update to that once you see it released. Thanks for reporting this and for your patience.

In reply to: [Business Directory Plugin - Easy Listing Directories for WordPress] excerptHi @sas40
That is in the Elite Package that we offer.
Hi @mousai
Thanks for the question.
We can’t reorder the steps for submitting a listing, but it sounds like you may have a setting checked that you don’t want. Selecting a listing location tells me that you may have the “Allow users to manually adjust the location of their listings?” setting checked in Google Maps.
To turn this off, go to Directory > Settings > Premium Modules > Google Maps and uncheck that box.
Hi @palkat
Thanks for that information. Can you please try updating the plugin one more time and see if you still run into issues with that? This should be addressed now.
Please try that and let me know what you find.
Can you try ticking all of the options and trying that again? After doing that, we recommend clearing the server cache if you have one (which is found either in your hosting settings or on your plugin settings for things like WP Super Cache and W3TC if you have them installed), as well as your client browser cache.
The best way to get uncached data on your browser is to use a Private Browsing window or Incognito mode (depending on your browser). That ensures you’re seeing the latest, correct data.

Hi @reparde
I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with this!
We released 5.8.2 today – can you please try updating to that and see if it resolves the issue?
The other thing you might try is a full conflict test. If you get no results with that, we would like to troubleshoot this issue with you further.
Please contact us with a link to this forum thread here: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/contact/

On the live site, are you using 5.8.1? If so, that’s a known issue and will be addressed in 5.8.2, due out soon.
You can roll back to a prior version or contact me directly and I can get you the CSS needed to address the issue.
If you want the CSS, please contact us with a link to this forum thread here: https://awpcp.com/contact/ http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/contact/
