Thanks for reporting these. I have been able to replicate both of these issues and have added them to our bug list to fix for a future release. I’m not sure if #1 you described is an actual bug, but what you are saying does make sense so I’ll alert the developer to this as well.

I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with this!

The 503 error is typically an error with your hosting company and is very common for shared hosting sites. Here is a description of the error: https://httpstatuses.com/503

I’d recommend waiting some time and trying again.

Sorry that this is still a problem. I’m not seeing the issue when I try to share to Facebook — the listing thumbnail is what is shown when I do that.

Sorry for any confusion about this.

You can set the featured image on the images tab in the listing. There are now grab bars where you can move the placement of the images, and the featured image will be identified as the Thumbnail image. You must save your changes in order for this to take effect.

We do have a way to make this a little easier. You can export your regular WordPress categories into a CSV file (there are a lot of plugins that can help with this), then import them into our Classifieds Plugin.

There is a setting on the import page that gives you a choice for how to handle missing categories — the plugin can either generate an error or create new categories. Just create a test listing and add all of your categories!

Please know that we will work to make this less of an issue going forward. I searched and found some of the selectors for the dropdown menus that you can use to change the styling on that particular page, but keep in mind that this may affect styling other places on your site:
