In reply to: [AWP Classifieds] How Can I Use Your Plugin to Create A Site Like ThisHi @todga
Sorry about that! Right now, we don’t have a way to get a grid layout in the plugin; however, there are plugins out there that might work for this. I have used Grid Plus before, and it seems to work okay: https://wordpress.org/plugins/grid-plus/ and I have also used Post Grid as well: https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-grid/
Keep in mind that these plugins haven’t been fully vetted with AWPCP, so I can’t guarantee that there wouldn’t be an issue, but generally, they do a great job that I’ve seen.
I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues!

In reply to: [AWP Classifieds] Fields font colorHi @justbud
You can change that with custom CSS. While all fonts, colors and spacing can be changed using custom CSS, providing exact code here is beyond the scope of support we can offer. Here is an article about how to use custom CSS with AWPCP in a way that doesn’t get overwritten on upgrade: http://awpcp.com/forum/faq/how-to-use-custom-styles-with-awpcp/
If you aren’t familiar with CSS, you can start reading up on it here: https://www.htmldog.com/guides/css/beginner/
I hope that helps. If there’s something else I can help you with, please let me know.
Glad you found the issue @hellu24 🙂
Thanks for posting here Jamie. The elementor features require a premium package purchase to work properly. You can read our blog post on that here: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/business-directory-elementor/
Thanks @jamieburchell Closing the ticket now since this is a premium product that we cannnot support on wordpress.org
Sorry about marking the ticket as resolved — we sometimes do that when we expect to hear from a customer directly. I assumed you might choose to send me some screenshots since we can’t share those here. Please accept my apologies — I’ve reopened it now.
Will you check if you have the same issue under these conditions?
– all other plugins deactivated
– any custom code removed
– WP 2020 theme active
– running the current version of Business Directory PluginÂ
– running the current version of WordPress
– all site, server, and browser caches clearedIf you do have the same issue under those conditions, please let me know. I’ll also need specific steps to see the issue that you’re seeing, as well as a listing where this is happening.  If this is a local site, we’ll need access to a published site where the issue can be reproduced and accessed by our team.
To expedite the issue further, please do a short screencast of the issue or send screenshots showing the exact steps to reproduce the issue. We recommend useloom.com for the screencast and Lightshot ( https://app.prntscr.com/en/index.html ) for screenshots. If it helps, you can number the steps and include links to the exact pages you are using when you had a problem.Â
Please try that and let me know what you find.`
Hi @doylegirl
Thanks for posting your question here. I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with this!
For email issues with the plugin, it’s usually best to verify some things about your server, because in our experience, email problems stem from the server configuration more than anything.
Here’s an article about email delivery that you should try, including a plugin to install to track the outgoing email to confirm that it’s being sent: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/knowledge-base/understanding-and-fixing-email-problems/
Once you confirm that, it means that the email is either failing to be delivered by the server or something outside of the plugin. We use the standard mechanism for email sending through WP, but once it’s sent, it’s outside of our control.
Please try that and let me know if you run into more issues.
Hi @hellu24
Thanks for your question! Sorry for any confusion about this.
We check this and we are not seeing any reference to maps.googleapis.com in the core plugin. Is it possible that it is coming from another plugin or your theme?
Please let me know.
Thanks for your question. When I went to the link you provided above, there was no page shown.
Can you please let me know? You can also contact us with a link to this forum thread and any screenshots of the problem here:Â http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/contact/
Hi @wolfgangac
Thanks for getting in touch.
The KFZ thing sounds like a broken translation. You can help us with that as we rely on native speakers to fix translation problems in the plugin.
You can contribute corrections and see our progress on translations on WordPress.org here: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/business-directory-plugin/As for the URL opening in the same window, there is a setting to change that in the form field itself. Go to Directory > Form Fields and choose edit for the URL field. Then check the box next to the setting: “Open link in a new window?”
Please try that and let me know if you run into more issues.
Since we haven’t heard back here, I’m going to assume you were able to find and resolve the issue. I’m closing this ticket, but feel free to get in touch if you’re still having an issue.
Best,
~Bobbie

In reply to: [AWP Classifieds] How Can I Use Your Plugin to Create A Site Like ThisHi @todga
Thanks for your question! Right now, AWP Classifieds does not have a grid layout, but there are some grid plugins out there that may work with custom post types like our plugin. I sent you an email to that effect.
I hope that helps.
