Would you please try restoring the deleted galleries from your site backup?The gallery plugin does not copy/save the galleries you create.

We did have an issue with the uploads, but v 1.5.73 included the following update:
Fixed: Importing newly added images from media library.Thanks for your collaboration.

Do you refer to the loading issues when switching the galleries?
I see no problem viewing the images within one gallery.
