When you resize the page with the pop-up open, it appears. So please try excluding it via your cache plugin and disabling the lazy load, then let us know the outcome.

I checked your site and was able to see the issue. There is indeed a white placeholder at first, but if the page is resized, it appears. This is an outcome from the mutation observer and lazyload. You could try excluding that section in your cache plugin and disabling lazyload to check if it resolves the issue.

Unfortunately not, Font Awesome is needed to load the icons. AFAIK, Font Awesome does not take up any space at all. You could try using it without downloading, as your theme editor might already implement the Font Awesome font-family.
