In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Cookie Policy (EU) page CSS issueHello @guidotg ,
Thank you for reaching out.
I’m sorry to hear that. Could you please let us know if this is the first time you have installed the latest version of Complianz on this site? Also, is the “Use document CSS by Complianz” option enabled in Tools > Documents? It might be useful to click on “Save,” as the document.css is missing. Please let me know. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] complianz popup is lazy loadingHello @sayantansdas ,
Thank you for reaching out.
You could try improve this by excluding Complianz from the cache, we have a guide at this link that it might fits your case: https://complianz.io/javascript-delay-in-wp-rocket-and-other-caching-and-optimization-plugins/.
And also, we wanted to provide some context regarding the impact of the consent banner on performance metrics in tools like Lighthouse. Since consent banners typically load after other elements and often occupy a noticeable portion of the screen, especially on mobile devices, they can sometimes influence the results of synthetic performance tests. It’s important to note that these tests simulate a first-time visitor experience, where the banner is always displayed. In contrast, real-world user data (such as Chrome UX Reports) is less likely to encounter the banner as frequently, as returning visitors may have already provided consent.
While it’s possible to adjust the banner’s size or content to improve performance test scores, we advise prioritizing real user experience. Reducing the size or visibility of the banner could impact usability or clarity, which might affect compliance and user trust.
If you still wish to optimize, one approach is to shorten the consent text and adjust the font size, for example: “To provide the best experiences, we and our partners use technologies like cookies to store and/or access device information.”
We recommend testing any changes to ensure the balance between performance and user experience is maintained.
I hope this helps and clarifies your doubts.Hello @juanid ,
Thank you for reaching out.I’m sorry to hear that. Could you please try resetting the banner CSS in Consent Banner > General > Reset to default values > Reset? This should work. If not, you could manually change the text in Consent Banner > Text.
I hope this helps!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] GTM – KIT SITE – ANALYTICSHello @oninmedia ,
This issue is likely caused by an integration such as ‘Site Kit’, which is currently enabled on your site, being enabled under Complianz -> Integrations. Disabling it should resolve the issue.
However, please note that if you insert the same GTM/Analytics used in Site Kit, you will likely have a double implementation of those, which could ruin your stats. I suggest implementing Analytics in GTM so you can disable Site Kit and handle everything under Complianz.
I hope this helps.

AntonioHello @jckmntn ,
Thank you for reaching out.
We have multiple examples of custom Google Maps integration on our GitHub that could help you. I believe that this specific example will suit your case. Here’s the link: https://github.com/complianz/complianz-integrations/blob/master/Google%20Maps/custom-google-maps.php.
I hope this helps!

Thank you for reaching out.
I’m sorry to hear that. Could you please send a video of the issue? This way, I can see specifically what is happening, possibly with the console open and the network tab too, to check if any connections fail. I don’t see anything particular on your homepage, so I would like to understand the situation better.
Thanks in advance. Looking forward to hearing from you.Forum: Plugins

AntonioHello @eatse ,
Thanks, after further digging, I have found the issue(s).Having the YouTube service enabled while having the Greenshift integration enabled too gives an additional error to the console (screenshot), on top of the pre-existing one shown by Greenshift (even if the integration is disabled, screenshot here). So this might be an issue originating primarily with Greenshift.
With that said, it could still work if you leave only the Greenshift integration enabled and disable the YouTube service one. The console error will still appear as this goes outside our plugin, but in the end, the video would be blocked prior to consent and shown once closed.
Please let me know. Looking forward to hearing from you.

AntonioHello @eatse ,
Thank you for reaching out. With your steps, I was able to reproduce the video block, but not the same issue. It might be a caching or priority issue. Can you please try to exclude GreenShift and Complianz from the cache and let us know? For Complianz, we have a guide for that here: https://complianz.io/javascript-delay-in-wp-rocket-and-other-caching-and-optimization-plugins/.In the meantime, if you would like to share the site, it would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

AntonioHello @dillhausen ,
Does the cookiedatabase.org section show a language selector? It might be that you are syncing the cookies in the wrong language. A selector usually appears when the site language is first set to English, Complianz is installed, and then switched to another language. Here’s a screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/nghUwm_BELGP.
If yes, please select the language in use on the page and click on sync.
Let us know, looking forward to hearing you.Hello @stefacchio ,

I’m sorry to hear that. Error 500 is usually an error on your backend. Unfortunately, without the debug log, we cannot determine the exact cause. Could you please send it so we can analyze it?
Thanks in advance.Hello @tharindul ,
Thank you for reaching out.We have an option that might suit your case. Can you please try enabling “Enable cookie blocker for AJAX loaded content” in Settings > General and let us know the outcome?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
