The Tracking Method setting has behavioral compatibility like Cache compatibility in older versions. If it is set to Client Side Tracking, it will remain exactly like the older versions.
After changing the Tracking Method, if you are using cache plugins, please clear the site cache once and then close the Notice.
If the statistics work correctly with these settings, everything is fine and there is no need for any concern.

It’s possible that you’ve changed the settings and the Slimstat button has been moved to the Admin Bar. Please check this as well.

In latest update, we changed the title of the widget from “Quick Stats” to “Traffic Overview” in this commit.
If I’m not mistaken, the language of your site is Spanish. Since this title change is recent and, as you can see in the Spanish translation file, there has not been a translation provided for this title in your language yet. As a result, the widget title is displayed to you in the original English title.
You can translate the title using this link. After that, translators will review it and, if approved, it will be applied in the translation file updates on your site.
Regarding the display of widgets, it’s likely that the changes have been reset or modified once, which resulted in all of them being displayed. You can disable the above widgets from the top section.

After your login, the respective hook was executed, and the settings have reverted to their previous state. Now you should no longer receive any emails. Is that correct?
In general, these two widgets are quite similar, but the Traffic Overview widget includes a chart that the Traffic Summary widget does not have.
Depending on your needs, you can disable one of the widgets by clicking on Screen Options in the top right corner, so that only one widget is displayed on the dashboard.

Unfortunately, in the latest update, an issue has occurred with data recording on some websites when the Tracking Method is set to Client Side Tracking. We are currently working on this issue and will fully resolve it in future updates. Until then, you can set the Tracking Method to Server Side Tracking so that the statistics are recorded correctly.
Given this issue affecting some websites, we might reconsider deprecating the Server Side Tracking option in version 15.

This means that if Google Search Engine Tracking is enabled and a user enters your site from Google, the address google.com will be recorded in the Referrer section for that user.
