Thanks for the info.
But I don’t know if I will try it again.I am disabling. starting to use cache again, because it was bad for my site. Visitors does’t start counting after last update. No response anymore here. And no solution in sight.
@mostafas1990
Just for fun I tested it without plugins, not working.
While other plugins are at least counting or – some other – do a job nearly as good as your plugin before one of the last updates.
It doesn’t work with Cache enable or disabled. I tested both.
It counts 1 while others count a lot more.@mostafas1990
Again, it doesn’t count at all.@bliss7
I guess they think the version is better and just needs some adjustments.Seems there was huge delay with starting counting. It works. But it seems, it does not count every single visitor. I published an article yesterday and it was shared via different networks, count went up fast for every other statistics except WP Statistic. And I already saved statistics settings again, like the one on the page where you can set the increment of visitors (how many point should it add when one visitor is visiting).
I know you are a user, not a developer. I wasn’t questioning it. Just telling, that it doesn’t work for me. Even though I shouldn’t have tried without cache, I did. I followed your points precisely and nothing happens.
@norhwiz
I tried this. This doesn’t work. No counts of visits or anything else within hours. During this time, other stats in wordpress and external ones went up.Disabling a plugin doesn’t mean it is resolved.
@mehrshaddarzi
For the time being, I have disabled the plugin and will test before I use it completely again. Hope everything else is solved, too. Thanks.@aferdoss
Check other statistics, you’ll see it is the broken plugin not that you really have lost any visitors or something. That’s my experience, though.Just for testing purposes, I disabled the cache WP_CACHE function for a day. Only thing that happens is, the error message (disabling the WP_CACHE function or disable the new function in the plugin) disappears. The other problems are still there – with or without WP_CACHE function.

@steveraven
Doesn’t work for me. Both new function were disabled.@mostafas1990
It has to do with the Statistics plugin. I did check it with no plugins installed and it doesn’t count visitors – usually shown at the end of each line at edit.php after a single post.My site’s working fine and counting visitors, but not shown at least on edit.php. New articles doesn’t count at all. Older ones don’t go up, too.

To be sure about it, you should add a double-opt-in option, so ads will only be displayed when clicked and a user is consent with the privacy rules of a specific website. Thus the double-opt-in should provide a link to the privacy rules of a website and also stating when first clicked that cookies may be set by third parties when ads will be displayed. So the plugin is GDPR but could be optimized. Otherwise users can’t use it in my opinion. And I for example don’t use it since GDPR is running and there’s no double opt-in option for users.
