In reply to: SSL -> not counting unique IPs?Every tool I used, has wrong stats. I have no access to those kind of logs, I guess. But with AWStats, the numbers dropped, too, as in GA or as in every plugin for wp I checked.

In reply to: SSL -> not counting unique IPs?So, no errors. Any ideas where to look it? What to ask my hosting provider?

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Not counting unique IPs?No, I don’t use that kind of setting. No reverse proxy either. It should solve the problem in the standard-version.

In reply to: SSL -> not counting unique IPs?Due to “forced” SSL / https I assumed it does exactly that.
Also, having with or without www didn’t hurt before. Why should it now? And how do I force? Redirect 301 in htaccess?
What should it look like?

In reply to: SSL -> not counting unique IPs?I only assume, what I mentioned isn’t safe. It is just guessing.
It is also shared hosting, I did enable SSL via activating newly implemented Let’s Encrypt (by the hosting service)
I use:
https://…
https://www….
http://
http://wwwNo entry shows different. I enabled forced https in the hosting settings for Let’s Encrypt. (I can’t turn it off anymore, because then, my whole site is down…)

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Problem with W3TC and SSL?@vmarko Since the problem isn’t solved, you have any ideas where to look at?
Can it caused by SSL in general?

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Problem with W3TC and SSL?Thanks. The Https option was on during the last installation.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Problem with W3TC and SSL?@vmarko – if the issue persists after deleting, can I re-install W3TC again? And if so, do you have any suggestions for the best settings (SSL via Let’s Encrypt, no CDN)?

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Problem with W3TC and SSL?@vmarko
There are no entries in the htaccess generated by the plugin.I have disabled the cache ssl option and will check back after an hour or so.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Problem with W3TC and SSL?Hello @vmarko
I have disabled it, yes. And the problem persists. On the other hand, after disabling it, another plugin recognized there must be a cache plugin, said, that I should switch a specific option on / off (because of the cache plugin recognized). Why I am mentioning this? Because, if this plugin knows there must be a cache plugin, although disabled, other plugins, wordpress, the server’s system whatever, might also know. Meaning disabling it means nothing to plugins, wordpress, etc. Might not change a thing.
Can I reset the settings somehow? And what are the best options / setting to use, with SSL (Let’s Encrypt), no CDN?

@norhwiz – I have switched too.
@norhwiz – I don’t think the plugin is the reason, I have this with different plugin, and only since I have moved to https. After that, no google analytics, no stats count (via plugin in wordpress). I have only my ip and google bot

In reply to: Error 500/503 due cron job / edit.phpp?@t-p
Thanks a lot.
I have disabled the plugin WP Optimize because it deletes database entries like old revisions etc. I have heard that this can cause this.
Also, your hint with the cron ticket might also apply. But I am not that good in programming. And I don’t know if this also applies to what WP Optimize is doing with older revisions, but it seems at least a possibility. But then, it is also good that I have disabled the plugin.
I have asked the hosting provider to further check log files the next few days and also have a look on the PHP memory usage, which was also too high.
