In reply to: WordFence reports “manipulated” index.php etc.@sterndata – Thanks. Wordfence is installed, will check the links you posted, too. Wordfence is making a scan right now.
I also found out that a auto-generated file appears, even though I delete it every now and then. Its name is “828e0013b8f3bc1bb22b4f57172b019d”.

In reply to: WordFence reports “manipulated” index.php etc.@benniledl – Thank you. I hope I can change it. I assumed the same, but wasn’t sure.

In reply to: Critical error after update@harishanker – It’s a critical error. For me, it’s something different. And where does it say something about it? In the logs? They shouldn’t be on 24/7 and weren’t during this event. I haven’t installed any additionally plugins (for site’s health) because I already have “a lot” of them active and running and because I thought wordpress does log errors somewhere save and easy to access. Wrong conclusion from me. I made them because in the dashboard area since some versions of wordpress you can see health state of the site, site’s being checked aka site-health.php or something like that. But it doesn’t.

In reply to: Critical error after update@macmanx Thanks, that’s what I did. Either after the update unfortunately several plugins are broken or the update causes errors. Sometimes even with de-activated plugin the error occured.
@contentiskey Thanks. Will re-install it.

In reply to: [Auto Featured Image (Auto Post Thumbnail)] Changes rights of foldersForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Auto Featured Image (Auto Post Thumbnail)] Changes rights of folders@webtemyk OK. Maybe not directly, but it works since we have cleaned Database from your data and deleted all files from the plugin. It was gone after everything was deleted. And it started with the installation of the plugin.

In reply to: [Auto Featured Image (Auto Post Thumbnail)] Changes rights of folders@webtemyk Oh dear, of course the problems were there during the time, when the plugin was enabled. And, yes, it was probably your plugin. After we disabled and removed the plugin, cleaned database etc. it was fine.
@arsalantariq Any news about this? It’s still not working and it’s terrible.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Instagram support@bobmatyas Did I update?
Too bad you have no plans, because you’re now able to do it with an official API.
If I was satisfied with the other plugin’s functionality, I would.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Instagram support@erania-pinnera Thanks for the reply.
It helps understanding the problem, yes. It doesn’t help understand why the plugin blog2social has it already implemented and you need to overcome stuff. The widget isn’t what I am looking for, though.
And the github issues’ last post says, it is possible for business accounts. So, you could start implementing it.

@arsalantariq I can’t record and my explainaion of the problem is above.
The snippet I choose in the backend, need to be displayed “live” in the text field (like it was in the classic editor) and not only shown in the published article.@arsalantariq OK, I watched it. I never published a post. I can choose from a drop down list and maybe it would be displayed. BUT: In the classic editor the text was visible (after choosing the right snippet I want) and I could and need to edit it. It is no returning block with exactly the same text, it need to be changed for every post. That’s the error I was talking about. The video shows the problem, you can choose the snippet and it appears after publishing. But in the classic editor the post snippet could be edited, because the snippet was instantly displayed in the classic editor. In the Gutenberg editor it is only visible after publishing and I cannot edit beforehand.
@alexius08 I know that search engines cannot detect changes instantly, but truth is: the other reviews I wrote since then, have it turned on from the start are a few days old and with other plugins (not a block) were displayed instantly in recent months at another page I had (doesn’t exist). And changes made on my older page were detected very fast and changed in google’s SERPs.
The code snippet you sent is available in the code. But the stars or percentages aren’t displayed. Although it is a week ago since the changes. So, it should be visible in google SERPs right now, but aren’t. Not for this review, not for any other written since then.
@alexius08 Any news regarding my problem?
Hi @arsalantariq,
I am sorry to hear that. I don’t know what’s different being supportive here or over there, on your website. I prefer to get advice or better a solution here. I don’t like leaving more data everywhere else, when it’s possible to do the same here. Support can come over here and check all what I have written and assist accordingly as well.
Thanks.
