In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] Latest Update to v1.7 Wrecks Fancy BoxI have the same problem with the last version. The behavior of EFB has changed in several different ways that make the NextGEN gallery not to function as a gallery unless I change the setting in Settings/Media and auto gallery everything. That, in turn, appends images from the sidebar to the gallery. I think I will have to revert to the earlier version until the version to version behavior becomes consistent.

In reply to: Dashboard widget boxes do not collapse or expandI understand. I am marking this as resolved to close the conversation. Although my question was aimed at WordPress community, not the plugin developer.

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Dashboard widget boxes do not collapse or expandThank you t-p, the plugin does not involve WooCommerce. I have inquired about it from Tips and Tricks HQ, the maker of the plugin but they could not suggest a solution. I was hoping that someone on the WordPress forum may have some insight.

The problem has been resolved. The problem was with one of the membership level settings. I still don’t understand how disabling NextGEN allowed it to work, but was not caused by it. FYI.

Cais, thank you for your reply. When NextGEN is active, simply trying to go to eMember/Members option throws the error. When I disable NextGEN, I can go in to see the Members but the number of members displayed is still not complete. Tips and Tricks HQ is also looking into it, I gave them admin access. It is really strange because all was fine until probably Tuesday or Wednesday with both plugins active. I switched to WP Twenty Seventeen which did not make any difference. It is either a conflict of a script or some corruption in the database.
The strange part is that I can see all the members on the front end of the site on a page! I thought you might know something that can help trace the problem. If you have a contact at TaTHQ, would it be possible to contact them on your private channel? In the worst case, I will delete all the members and the eMember plugin data and start over again. When I hear from them I will let you know for future reference.
Thanks again,
Cemal
I have since tried downgrading NextGEN but that did not solve the problem, I thought I would add that piece of information.

Thank you, Cena. I logged out and logged back in to see the posts. They now show up. I could see the pages and the media before but not the posts. Why do you think the sync for the blog posts was not done while the other parts were fine? Is this something I need to check periodically? Does that affect my stats?

In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] Sitemap appears to be an HTML pageI could not make this plugin work at all. Google Webmaster Tools simply did not see any sitemap file. So, I removed it. Clearly, it is a popular plugin but, … Not for me, and the support forum did not change that. Although I am not seeking help anymore, I am not marking this as resolved either, because it is not.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product page loads slowly@pocketmo, I installed a plugin called Disable Cart Fragments and it made a difference. I tried caching plugins but they cache everything on a product page and displaying related products defeats the purpose as it shows the same products every time. I am not using any caching plugin.
I hope this helps.

@bertkat, nothing specific that could apply to other sites or even a definitive source of the problem. It looked like an SQL injection. Hosting server audit did not yield any evidence of a problem but other sites on the same hosting company had the same issue. I reported it to the hosting company and upgraded the PHP version to 7.1.
Sorry, but, that’s all.

Thank you, I have just sent the diagnostic to the email you specified.

Thank you @iframe, for checking the site. It is comforting to know that Scuri came out clean, as did Wordfence.
I am still puzzled how a hacker can change a piece of data in the wp-options table without logging in. I did search for the hacker’s name and there are, as you said, a large number of sites that come up with that title and all seemed to be “intact” at least visually.
I hope to hear from Wordfence team and learn how we can prevent this from happening in the first place.
