In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displaysThis morning, I noticed that the Overview graph displayed today’s stats correctly. Thanks for the fix.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displays@alabasterized oddly, the dip coincided with the switch from the daylight saving time to standard time. It is a bug indeed and I am hoping for a solution soon.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displaysThe problem still continues on my site as can be seen in the linked screen capture I have just made. What shows as “Today” is actually yesterday’s numbers. To see the current numbers, I need to go to Overview and select “Today” from the date range. I am hoping for a fix soon.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displaysFor the record, the graph “Pageviews” in the Overview window is off the same way when it displays the last four weeks. I am glad the team is working on it, thanks.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displaysOne more piece of input, “today” on the graph shows yesterday’s totals. That’s why it probably does not change and disagree with the page count on “At a glance” block.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displaysThere is definitely something awry. This morning, my page views on the graph indicate 186 but on At a Glance, it is 37. Another stat plugin reports the same as 24, but that is probably due to the counting method differences.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displaysI checked the time zone, and it shows New York as it always has. There are still significant discrepancy between the graph number and the number under At a Glance: 138 vs 68. Another WP statistics plugin is reporting 14 visitors today, not even near 68 or 138.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Discrepancy in displaysToday, the discrepancy has changed direction. In the page view summary graph on the dashboard, I see 144 page views on November 4. But, when I display today’s stats, the total page views shows as 34. Something is not right!
Mehmet, you have been very helpful and educational for me. I use the server side protections. Now, I will try to learn how to add the robots.txt rule and implement it. Thank you.

I double checked and confirmed that the Bots was enabled. Spammers option is not enabled but I cannot see how they can spam without commenting, so I left it the way it is. It is strange to have significantly more traffic from faraway countries than the visitors from the US. We’ll see if the traffic keeps going up. I am pretty sure they are not reading anything but I wonder if they may robotically copy the content to deploy on other sites. That won’t be the first.
Thank you for further explanations and tips.

Thank you. So, a fingerprint is not exactly a fingerprint. What made me question the variable was an unusually large number of visits (for my modest site) with similar behavior from all over the world. Most of these visits viewed categories, but very few posts in those categories. I was hoping to have a better understanding of this kind of visitor behavior. The puzzle continues, the source country is meaningless, and the search continues!!
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Panoramic Image Block] Single Panoramic Image option?I no longer need help or support as I gave up on it and deleted it. This topic is unresolved but may be closed.

In reply to: [Panoramic Image Block] Single Panoramic Image option? In case someone reads these questions, I will add a couple of suggestions if you are open to them. In addition to be able to insert a single panorama image:
- Allow users to select the height of the displayed image when displayed in a light box with black background
- Allow inserting a block that displays the panoramic image inline within the content, say 800×400, and dragging it to the right or left. This is in addition to displaying the panorama in a light box
Here is a sample insertion with three image segments below the display of another plugin.

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] Call for Feature RequestsI would very much like to see an option to display panoramic, not 360-degrees but stitched for wide view, images by fitting them in the maximum height and allowing the user move it to the right and left. An option to display the entire panorama on demand would be the icing on the cake.
I have searched a panoramic image plugin but they are all designed for 360-degree VR viewing. There is a plugin that does it on single images. Something like that in the lightbox would be super:

How about it?

That worked too, after a backup of course. Thank you for your help. Now, I need to learn how to select multiple variables to delete without risking deleting a very large number of them. Perhaps your team can consider adding these variables to the plugin to clean, that will be a good addition.
Thanks.
