In reply to: [The Events Calendar] The Event Calendar breaks Themify Front End BuilderHi @digibread, thanks for the updates here. It seems like they’d be fixing it on their end.
Thanks for the kind words, and yes, we do test out different themes as well. Although we are compatible with various themes, a couple of themes would need more customizations for them to work.
Also, note that we only partially support FSEs. We’re working on it. https://theeventscalendar.com/known-issues/#fse-support
Please do keep us posted on this one.
Best,
AbzHi @scolombo @pixeleric, thanks for sharing — I’d also share this with our team.
The issue most likely is from the Events calendar plugin. Can you maybe use this as a possible workaround – https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/dynamically-populate-a-select-fields-choices/
Try to dynamically load the dropdown with the post types based on the filtering you want. You could query the database using wp query and load the exact posts you want. Consider this as a workaround as the issue might take a while.
I’d check with them regarding this and get back to you whenever I hear from them.

AbzHi, thanks for confirming the Object Cache. I am curious as well about this issue. 🤔
Could you follow this article here and see if that makes a difference? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/wp-engine/
Also, please clear caching after updating settings.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] WP Bakery element broken after 6.0.2 updateHi @joshbour, this is definitely helpful. One more thing, could you share the direct URL to the page you’re having issues with?
Please do not share any credentials. This is for us to follow the WordPress Forum Guidelines.
I tried replicating it on my end with the latest version, and it works. I’d like to check further as well.
Thank you,

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] PayPal setup doesn’t work yetHi @derulfdunkel, it seems like you’re still following the Tribe Commerce, which is the Old way/method.
Using Tickets Commerce, there’s no need to set up the IPN, and it should work connecting to PayPal.
See the article here to learn more:

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] PHP 8.1Hi @deonvwe, yikes! That’s not good.
Thanks for providing more details here. I wonder if you’re using any third-party caching plugin or server-side. 🤔
Also, it would be good to test for conflicts. Could you follow the following steps?
1. Deactivate all other plugins except for The Events Calendar Plugins.
2. Switching to the Default theme. Please read the Testing for Conflicts Article before doing anything.
To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.
Best,
Abz
