• I have a multisite instance where TEC is network activated. When viewing the Events > All Events page in the admin, all Event titles are the same, the title of the first event in the table. All other information about events in the table (start/end date, Event Category, etc.) appears correctly and clicking the event title takes you to the expected event (e.g., the event for that position in the table, not the event of the visible title).

    Other details:

    • This happens in TEC 6.0.3.1 but not 6.0.3.
    • I’ve disabled all plugins, mu-plugins, and activated Twenty Twenty on WordPress 6.1.1.
    • This happens both when events on the subsite have been upgraded, upgraded and then reverted, or not upgraded.
    • Site hosted on WP Engine. Issue present on production and staging sites.

    There’s also another minor multisite issue: The multisite Network Event Settings include an “Upgrade” tab that reports the status of the primary/parent site in the network.

  • @mrwweb, we are experiencing the same issue on our Multisite, which is also hosted on WP Engine. Here’s the screenshot of our events in the admin interface. Did it fix the issue when you “disabled all plugins, mu-plugins, and activated Twenty Twenty on WordPress 6.1.1.?”

    Even when we upgraded TEC to 6.0.5, the issue has not been resolved.

    @donnydigital

    Here’s the screenshot of our events in the admin interface.

    Looks just like ours.

    Did it fix the issue when you “disabled all plugins, mu-plugins, and activated Twenty Twenty on WordPress 6.1.1.?”

    No. The issue was still present with all plugins except TEC disabled and using Twenty Twenty. My “fix” was downgrading to TEC 6.0.3. The issue appears in 6.0.3.1 and above.

    Hi @mrwweb,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Could you try disabling the Object Cache from your server and check if that makes a difference?

    In addition, please provide the PHP version you’re using.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    @d0153 Thanks for the support!

    1. Object caching is off by default on WP Engine staging sites, so that doesn’t appear to be the issue. I confirmed this was true and that the issue is still present. I also cleared the (disabled) object cache just to be extra sure.
    2. PHP Version: 7.4

    Hi, thanks for confirming the Object Cache. I am curious as well about this issue. 🤔

    Could you follow this article here and see if that makes a difference? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/wp-engine/

    Also, please clear caching after updating settings.

    Best,

    Just confirming what @imeson said (and which I think I got wrong earlier). Turning off the WP Engine Object Cache fixes the issue but that’s not a sustainable solution. I can also confirm that this is still a problem in TEC 6.0.7.

    Hi everyone.

    Thanks for patiently waiting.

    At this time, we have been able to reproduce the problem and have identified a potential fix. I have already added this thread to our internal ticket.

    While we don’t have an ETA at the moment, you’ll get notified through this thread once there is an update and fix.

    Best,
    Darian
