Are you using a caching plugin? Also, try to deactivate your other plugins one by one and switch to a default WP theme temporarily and check if the issue continues.

While we are working on the fixes, there is a plugin that WordPress launched for compatibility since its update to version 5.5:

Could you share us the debug.log file error messages thrown? Also, please check you are running the minimum PHP version (7.1). Here are the instructions for getting the debug.log file:

Also, is the conflict only with the Profile Press plugin or is there other plugins/themes you have conflicts with?
