If you are in the test mode or live credentials, then this error means that the FedEx Credentials are incorrect.
Kindly provide the values correctly and you shall not get the problem again.

Right now the plugin is considering each variation as a separate product, hence for different variation the discounts are not applying our developers are working on a solution for this, we’ll fix and release a new version soon.

Thanks for explaining about this. However, this plugin is a shipping plugin. The request that you have put up is not a shipping related query. You should get code snippet over the internet or you may have to write a custom code to fulfil this.

You can try selecting the rates preference to Retail rates to get the retail rates, and make sure you have the WebtoolsID in the username field in the plugin settings.

In order to understand the problem with rates, can you please provide us the following info :
– Enable debug option in plugin settings page and then place an order from the cart page. You will see a request and response info. Copy this in a text file and send it to us.
We will analyze the debug response and immediately provide you the solution.
NOTE : Before sending the details here, make sure that you delete/remove the account information from the request as this is a public forum.

UPS Basic will not show up as a shipping method as this is an independent plugin.
To use the plugin, just go to WooCommerce –> Settings –> Shipping –> UPS and then enable “REALTIME RATES”. Once this is done, put in your UPS credentials correctly and you are ready to receive the rates.Do let us know if you face any issue with this.

Apologies for the late reply. We somehow missed the query.
Using this plugin, you can define the Shipping rates based on country and weight. If you want to add a custom text, you can do that by changing the name of the Shipping method. However, dynamically taking the details from description of the product is a little tricky with the plugin.
