In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Plugin ConflictHi,
You should be able to display the posts on the homepage by:
1. Go to Settings > General > Landing Pages
2. Make sure “Mobile front page” and “Posts page” is set to “WordPress Reading Settings”If they’re already configured that way, you can try:
1. Create a page in WordPress called “m” or “mobile”.
2. Set the ‘m’ page as the Mobile front page and Posts page in Settings > General > Landing PagesHi @redkite,
Sorry to hear about the trouble you’re having. Can you use your Android device/browser to test our live demo site of Bauhaus? This way, we’ll at least know if the issue is device/browser-specific. You can visit the live demo site at http://demo.wptouch.com/bauhaus

Thank you for the URL. I see what might be happening here. Since WPtouch doesn’t display sidebar widget content by default, and this uses a widget, the content is not being displayed.
In WPtouch Pro, sidebar widget support can be added using its child theme feature. It requires an upgrade to WPtouch Pro, and then we’ll assist you in adding sidebar widget support (it’s pretty straight forward).
Or, you can use an ‘eu cookie law’ plugin that doesn’t require the use of a widget to add the GDPR compliance notice.

Sharpo,
To resolve the issue with relevanssi, you can try the fix here (under Search Plugins) – https://support.wptouch.com/article/1445-known-incompatibilities
Please note that it requires WPtouch Pro, because it uses WPtouch Pro’s child theme feature.
“Is it a problem with the Huawei P8 lite causing it not to work?”
I’m not exactly sure on this. I don’t have that device to test from our end. Using that device, can you check the themes at http://demo.wptouch.com and see if the same happens? If it does, then it’s very likely that the issue is device/browser-specific.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Back ButtonHi,
By default, a back button is not used, since the browser includes back and forward buttons. In some mobile devices, users simply swipe left/right to navigate.
However, there are plugins out there that will add a back button to your site. Those plugins will work in the WPtouch theme as well.

WPtouch SupportHi,
Can you share the URL of the website in question? I’ll gladly take a look and see what might be going on. Thank you.

WPtouch SupportHi,
The issue seems to be caused by the “WP Fastest Cache” plugin. Please make sure it is configured to ignore the WPtouch user agent list. You can find the list and detailed instructions on various cache plugins in the article linked below.

WPtouch SupportHi,
If the homepage has a custom URL, then this should work. However, if it’s using the top-level domain name (www.yoursite.com vs http://www.yoursite.com/custom-homepage) then you may need to find another workaround.
One thing you can try is to create a separate page for mobile (like “m” or “mobile) and set it as the Mobile front page for WPtouch. This page can then be customized to display what you want your mobile visitors to see. This won’t affect the desktop theme and its homepage at all.

WPtouch SupportHi,
The issue doesn’t seem to be caused by WPtouch Pro. If you switch to the desktop theme using the switch link in the footer, you’ll see the same issue (I tested in iPhone/Safari). You may need to contact Amazon to ask why the links are causing that behavior.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] WPTouch versionYes, PHP version is completely separate from WordPress. Yes, WPtouch will work with WordPress 4.9.6.
We recommend PHP 5.x or higher though.

WPtouch SupportGlad to know you were able to find a workaround that works for you! Thanks for the follow-up.
Hi @gaurangsondagar,
If the custom page template includes calls to functions, files, etc. that are in the desktop theme, then you might see issues like this with it. It’s hard to say exactly why it is happening, but if you have any functions or functionality that is custom to the desktop theme being requested in the custom page template, you’ll need to define that functionality in the WPtouch theme as well.
Like airdrummer said, this is easier/possible with WPtouch Pro’s child theme support.

WPtouch SupportHi,
Sorry to hear about the trouble you’re having. It looks like you’re using the divi theme from ElegantThemes. Unfortunately, this is one of the very few themes that aren’t compatible with WPtouch/Pro.
In WPtouch Pro, you can use the “Mobile Content” extension, which will allow you to add alternate, mobile-friendly content for your mobile visitors, without affecting the desktop theme. This is a workaround others are using without issue.
However, if you’re using the divi builder to add content to a large number of pages or posts, this workaround might not be the best, since you would need to do it for all pages/posts that are exhibiting the issue.
