    Hi there @andrewews !

Thank you so much for further clarifying the question here. In short, any customization effort is going to be out of our support scope. Our support staff, myself included, are not developers so it is best that you reach out to professionals who can assist you with this question.

In short, there is a brand guideline for both Apple Pay and Google Pay buttons.

    – Apple Pay: https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/apple-pay/overview/buttons-and-marks/
    – Google Pay: https://developers.google.com/pay/api/web/guides/brand-guidelines?hl=en

We have to abide by these guidelines officially. (Stripe plugin still offers customization based on the guideline. Here is our documentation about Apple Pay button as an example: https://woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#express-checkouts-settings)

There isn’t a way for us to consistently say when Apple Pay/Google Pay buttons are not available. It is true Safari and Chrome are the major ones for the Express Pay buttons to show, but there are now Chromium-based browsers out there that behave like Chrome browsers as well.

The main key for Apple Pay/Google Pay buttons to be displayed is that the user has billing information stored on the browser. So even if one has an iPhone, they may not have billing stored to be used on Safari. In such a case, Apple Pay button will not be displayed either. (The same goes to Google Pay)

    I hope this clarifies a bit. 🙂

    Hi there @muhammed782 !

Thank you for sharing the error log with us here.

    I see this error log:

    01-18-2022 @ 18:52:49 - Request
    uri: https://graph.facebook.com/v11.0/catalog:272714124793711:d2NfcG9zdF9pZF81NjQ3/?fields=id,product_group{id}
    timeout: 500

May I ask how many products you have currently on the site?

If there are many products, I highly recommend to address PHP server side of configuration:

    PHP Time Limit: 600 → 1200

Secondly, do you have any plugins that modify the product settings?

For instance, I see these plugins:

    – Advanced Product Fields for WooCommerce: (StudioWombat) – 1.4.3
    – WooCommerce Variation Swatches Pro: (Drfuri) – 1.0.7

Could you please take a look at this section of our documentation here, and make sure that the steps you are following corresponds with the the steps in the documentation?: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#variable-products-variants

In short, if there are any product settings that interfere with Facebook product syncing, that could be an issue.

To test this, I’d recommend setting up a staging site. If this is not an option available at this time, I’d recommend installing a plugin such as Check Conflicts – https://wordpress.org/plugins/check-conflicts/ to proceed with conflict testing of product settings related plugins.

So the recommended testing steps would be:

    1. Disable any product-related plugins
    2. Create a simple variable product
    3. Try re-syncing the products (https://d.pr/i/YxoYWH)

Please let us know how this goes. Thank you!

    Hi there @leeadams123 !

May I ask if you’ve made a payment using Google Pay in the past with the same device you are using to test? Both Apple Pay and Google Pay use the information saved on the account associated with the service. So it is good to make sure that all the information with the account (ApplePay/GooglePay) is correct.

Could you also make sure “Allow customers to place orders without an account” is enabled under WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy. Or “Allow customers to create an account during checkout” and automatically generating an account username/password are enabled.

For more information on troubleshooting, please see our documentation here: https://woocommerce.com/document/payments/apple-pay/#section-11 (It says the doc is for Apple Pay, but this also applies to Google Pay)

    When you mentioned the below:
    > I recieve the following error message at the top of the page: “shipping email address (required) is a required field”

Is this error displayed at the top of the Chekout page on site? Or is this an error within the Google Pay? Would it be possible for you to share a screenshot of this error message? We recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in the reply.

Other factor that can influence is how Checkout page is set up (theme, plugin, etc). If the above troubleshooting did not help, could you please share a system status report in the reply so we can understand the current site configuration? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Thank you!

    Hi there @rotem657,

Could you check the following items?

1 – Check our documentation for sync issue

Please see this section of our documentation first to confirm all is in place correctly: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#section-28

In short, the attribute character should not include:

2 – Any Fatal Error Logs

Navigate to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Logs
Then check to see if there are any fatal error logs on the site.

    3 – Enable Facebook logging

Please enable Facebook logging: Marketing > Facebook > Debug mode as per our documentation here: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#section-25

Once that’s done, try the button “Sync products” from the Sync tab. Then navigate to the Logs area once again to look for any Facebook-produced logs.

    4 – Increase Server-Side Configuration

If your host server’s plan allows, please increase the following configurations.

    – PHP Post Max Size: 24 MB → 512 MB
    – PHP Time Limit: 120 → 1200

After all is checked off, please try creating test product that has variations, and see if this test product can be synced to Facebook.

    Hi there @begood88 !

Glad to hear the plugin has been working out for your needs!

Happy to address your questions here:

    > How to make a brand attribute from an already created attribute that is used for the brand field. 4000 products, the plugin allows you to add manually, but this is not a good option.

1 – This is currently not an available feature. Since Google Listings & Ads is a relatively new plugin, we have more features and development on the horizon.

As far as I could find, here is the similar feature already reported in our GitHub: https://github.com/woocommerce/google-listings-and-ads/issues/572

Here is also an ideaboard post:https://ideas.woocommerce.com/forums/133476-woocommerce/suggestions/43899639-add-attribute-mapping-to-google-listings-and-ads-s

    > This free plugin won’t be multilingual? For example, wpml compatibility

2 – Have you already checked WPML plugin? Currently, we do not support the localization of the plugin.

I found the Google documentation here: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/160637?hl=en

    > When you submit your product data to Google Merchant Center, you’ll need to use a currency that’s supported for your country of sale. You’ll also want to consider which language you’re using for your feed. You may upload and show your products in any supported language and show products in any country in which Shopping ads and free product listings are available.

    > Also keep in mind that your product landing pages must be in the same language as your product data. For example, if you list your product data in French, you must link to landing pages in French.

From this documentation, it seems multi-language product information feeding is not supported by Google itself.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi there @ceyhunyildiz ,

Thank you for updating us on the syncing issue with us. Syncing over 1000 products can certainly take up some server-side resources.
Would you be able to increase the PHP Time Limit to at least 1200 or 3000?

I understand this is frustrating to experience; however, we can only offer our support for the Facebook plugin as-is. We are working with Facebook to move forward with more development, but currently, our hands are tied until we have more collaboration from Facebook.

We appreciate your understanding and patience with us.

Hi there! @vipelabs Thank you for a very detailed post here.

I am wondering if something may have gone wrong when deleting database items manually.

Could you download this plugin tool here: https://d.pr/f/ek5BQl

This will add “Reset” option: WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Reset Facebok for WooCommerce settings click “Reset” https://d.pr/i/19UJUR

After that, please retry the connection workflow and see if you could complete the connection.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hi there @mannweb !

I was able to check the CSV file under the issue reported here: https://github.com/woocommerce/facebook-for-woocommerce/issues/2116

May I ask how you have exported the CSV file? If you have utilized a different plugin, could you try following this section of the documentation and see if you can export the said product using WooCommerce Core feature (Product Importer and Exporter)? https://woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/#export

If you would like to filter by product type, please place both Variable Product type and Product Variation type. As shown in this screenshot here: https://d.pr/i/zH3Uoe

To note, the CSV file should have variable (parent) and variation (child/variations of the products) under Type column. You may refer to this documentation here: https://woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/#converting-existing-simple-product-to-variable-product

The result of CSV should look very similar to this: https://d.pr/i/jdtgUA

    Hi there @aircrescio !

Thank you for sharing one of the product pages that is currently not synced.
I do not see anything that stands out from this. (To note: product pages with special characters in URL can cause syncing issues such as this.)

I noticed that you have a lower PHP configuration according to the status report you had shared with us earlier.

Could you please reach out to your host server and increase the following PHP configuration?

    • PHP Post Max Size: 200 MB → 512MB ore more
    • PHP Time Limit: 30 → 1200
    • Please make sure your hosting plan’s maximum allowance here.

Once this is done, please try clearing server-side cache on the website from the host server, then try syncing again.
