Hi Jenny,
Would you mind clarifying what you’re looking for?
Thanks,
BrianHi Clint,
Matt beat me to it. 🙂

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely pass this along!

Hi Peter,
I have not heard reports of a similar issue. Is this a new install or have you been running it for a while and this is a recent development? You could try turning on the error console in your browser while the problem is occurring and check for errors (clues) to the issue.
Have you tried removing Wordfence and all table data and doing a clean reinstall of the plugin? That may clear it up.
Thanks,
BrianI’ll pass this suggestion on to the developer team.
Thanks!
BrianHi Jennie,
It sounds like Wordfence is doing the job and keeping the bots from gaining access to your site. I was shocked when I installed Wordfence the first time and saw how many attempts are made to login. Unfortunately, this kind of activity is common. The good news is that you are aware of it and are being proactive.

Hi,
You’ll want to experiment with the settings on how Wordfence gets IP’s.
http://docs.wordfence.com/en/Wordfence_options#How_does_Wordfence_get_IPs
The default usually works but in your case, try the other options out.
Thanks!
BrianHi,
We’ve seen this one before. Try whitelisting your own IP address.

Let me know if that helps or not and we can troubleshoot further.

Hi Laura,
That’s great! Thanks for letting us know.

Interesting. Sounds like you have it under control. Keep us posted.

Hi,
You may want to try backing up your data (if you have a lot of settings configure), removing the plugin, and then reinstalling. Something doesn’t sound right. You could also try exporting settings from another site and importing it into the site in question after reinstalling.
Here’s some documentation to help.

Let us know what happens.
Thanks!
BrianHello,
The user would have to exist in you WordPress database in order for someone to login. You were unable to find one, correct? Did you use something like PHPmyAdmin to look at the MySQL wp_users?
Thanks,
BrianHi,
How long is your block time set? The default is 5 minutes. Eventually, all locks expire unless you permanently block the IP.

I’ll pass this along to the dev team. Thanks for the suggestion!
