Hi,
How long is your block time set? The default is 5 minutes. Eventually, all locks expire unless you permanently block the IP.

Thanks for getting back 🙂
Well, that’s the thing – last week whenever anyone signed in with one of the specified user names, they would show up straight away in the blocked IPs (they would not show up in the logins and logouts section) which I have set for 1 hour.
However, now they don’t seem to be being blocked at all – I have to do it manually by looking in the login and logout section and blocking them from there.
I have Wordfence on 2 other sites and they are still working as normal – blocking them straight away and only showing in the blocked IP section.
Many thanks
Hi,
You may want to try backing up your data (if you have a lot of settings configure), removing the plugin, and then reinstalling. Something doesn’t sound right. You could also try exporting settings from another site and importing it into the site in question after reinstalling.
Here’s some documentation to help.

Let us know what happens.
Thanks!
Brian
Me too Wordfence doesn’t seem to block any brute force attacks at least by banning IP (it doesn’t even log them) furthermore it doesn’t complete any scheduled scan while it is set on 256MB memory and tested with no issues.
Hi Brian,
Thank you SO much 🙂
Removing the data and then removing and reinstalling the plugin alone did not work BUT exporting my settings from my other site and tweaking them slightly after 2 attempts seems to have done the trick!
Thank you so much for your help
