Hi,
Please see these steps to troubleshoot scans that do not finish.
Thanks,
BrianHi Steve,
Try adjusting the memory allocation. Here is how:
Do that and then try another scan.
Thanks!

BrianHi,
It could be another plugin causing the issue. Try isolating the issue. See if Wordfence works as expected with no other plugins enabled. Start to add the other plugins back one at a time and test.
Here is our document on the issue:
Let us know if that helps.
Thanks!
BrianHi David,
I received word that we were experiencing an issue with our servers. This would cause you to intermittently lose connectivity to noc1.wordfence.com (this would stop your scans from running) and http://www.wordfence.com (our main website). It looks like service is restored now. Please let us know if you are still having any issues.
Thanks,
BrianHi David,
It appears that your server is unable to make or maintain a secure connection to the WF scanning server. Try the connectivity test and see if it makes a connection successfully.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Check out Advanced Blocking under the options menu. You can do a WHOIS lookup on the hostnames and then block by IP address or a range of IP addresses. It also explains blocking a web pattern browser.

If this answers your question, please mark as resolved.
Thanks!
BrianHi,
We scan against the WordPress core repository for modifications to core files, themes, and plug-ins. I’ve searched wordpress.org for InstaBuilder under plug-ins and it does not return anything. If InstaBuilder is not in the repository, that explains why the files are being flagged.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Sorry to hear about the saving issues. What that usually means is that there are issues saving the changes to the database. You could have your hosting company check the permissions on your WordPress/Wordfence tables and make sure they are as expected. You could also remove Wordfence and table data and try a clean install of Wordfence. If you haven’t customized much, this would be a faster way to go about addressing the issue.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Have you sent an email to billing@wordfence.com? If not, please do so and I’ll alert the team to be on the lookout. Due to the forum rules, we are unable to provide support for the paid version in the WordPress forums.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
It could be that. Did you add a DNS record for https to your site when you went SSL? Are you using Cloudflare or another CDN? Those types of services can cause a DNS mismatch too. If you continue to get warnings, you can disable DNS alerts.
Thanks!
BrianHi,
We currently do not have a version for on static html sites. Currently, we only offer a WordPress plugin. Thanks for the question!
Thanks,
BrianHi,
You’ll need to open a support ticket with your hosting provider and let them know your site cannot connect to noc1.wordfence.com on port 80 and port 443. They may have to allow your server to connect through a firewall or configure a proxy to allow this connection.
Hope that helps!
BrianHi,
Try following this document to reset Wordfence and table data. It is suggested when there are issues with a free API key.
Thanks,
Brian
