In reply to: Cannot save or publish new postsYou were right. They had to whitelist my IP address. This issue has something to do with their server patch in response to Heartbleed, so if anyone else starts experiencing this problem, don’t let them tell you it’s on your end!

In reply to: Featured image GIANT on post since WordPress upgradeI do see what you’re talking about though when I view the code in Firebug – there is post box entry top and post box entry.

In reply to: Featured image GIANT on post since WordPress upgradeOK, I’m SO frustrated. I can’t even figure out how to view the actual html in Thesis 2.1. I can see the layout of the template in the visual editor, but not the code itself.

In reply to: Featured image GIANT on post since WordPress upgradeAlso, I changed the featured image to one that was taken with a cell phone and is smaller, and now the excerpt appears to the right of it again, but in Firebug I can again change the only width, and not the height.

In reply to: Featured image GIANT on post since WordPress upgradeSo I guess my question is, can I change this so the first post appears the same as all the others? If so, how in the world do I do it?

In reply to: Featured image GIANT on post since WordPress upgradeInteresting. I used firebug to select the image in the first post, and I attempted to adjust the sizing. It will allow me to adjust the width, so I can make the image very small, and when I do that the post excerpt appears to the right of the image like in all the other posts. But I cannot adjust the height.

In reply to: Featured image GIANT on post since WordPress upgradeI do have a featured image set, and the excerpt is just supposed to be the first part of my post, like with all the others on the home page. I removed the line as you suggested, but it looks the same I think.

In reply to: Featured image GIANT on post since WordPress upgradeI think you’re probably right, because I’m using a free skin called Fremedy which does size the featured images like this. Here’s a link:
http://themedy.com/themes/fremedy/
I’m confused though as to why this is only happening with my newest post, and not all the other posts on the homepage. Also, I know nothing about php and VERY little about CSS. I basically figure things out by trial and error and it takes forever, so if you can help, Evan, (or anyone else) I’d really appreciate it.

In reply to: Featured Image Alignment in Thesis 2.1Never mind – figured it out myself. It was merely a matter of rearranging the order of the elements in the template so the featured image was below the headline, and a bit of CSS styling to get it looking right. So obvious, I can’t believe I didn’t figure it out before, but in my defense Thesis 2.1 is SO different from 1.XX (whichever I was using before I upgraded).

In reply to: Featured Image Alignment in Thesis 2.1Sorry, this is my site:
http://wantingwhatyouhave.com/
and the only css that seems to refer to the featured image is
img.wp-post-image {
margin: 0 0 30px 0;Of course, I know just enough CSS to be dangerous (and I mean that) so maybe this actually has nothing to do with the featured images?

In reply to: Import from Blogger incomplete – please help!Sorry, I forgot to include my site url. It’s http://www.wantingwhatyouhave.com.
I’m using Blogger 301 redirects, but if I delete the posts imported from Blogger, and import my content from the free WP blog, won’t all the links be different? And then my SEO and Google rank and all that will suffer? I’ve worked hard at this blog for 4 years, so I really don’t want to lose everything.
I actually could just manually move the month’s worth of posts that I’m missing, but that won’t solve the problem of the ll000 missing comments.
