In reply to: First theme, seeking some feedbackOh, gee, and here I thought my unicorn with the horn as the hotspot would make everyone really happy….
Oh well, back to the drawing board!
I like the darker grey better as well. And I’m not real picky about the pointer, crosshair’s okay with me…. but really, you should just use the default pointer because most people will be confused by anything else, and set your own browser to override for your pref….

In reply to: Military army themeChaaban, there was an “army” blog that was posted up in the Your WordPress section about 1.5 years ago. Other than that tiny bit of info, I remember nothing about it other than the fact that it was pretty neat looking. I don’t know if that will help you in further searches….
And I know there’s a “Desert Storm” theme for phpBB around somewhere that you might take a look at; I used it a while back for a site for friends who are buckskinners….
Here’s a link to premium (pay for) templates which might give you some ideas:

In reply to: Europe Travel Blog – Would love feedbackHmmmm. Well, if the “feedbacker” doesn’t give specifics, I don’t know what to say. I didn’t at all find it problematic….

In reply to: PLEASE A BETTER SUPPORT FORUM SYSTEMHmmm. Now see, my interpretation of the initial post was that the poster intensely disliked bbPress (which is of course what runs this forum), and was wishing for one of the bloated, insecure, “mainstream” varieties instead….

In reply to: SQL SERVER ERRORI think it’s a problem with something on your host end, as I stated above. Simply contact your host provider support, give them the error messages you’re getting, and ask them to track down the problem.

In reply to: Am i aloud to host blogs for everyone else?Far as I know, you can do whatever you want within the limits of your host provider agreement. Wp itself puts no limits on what you can do with the software.

In reply to: Europe Travel Blog – Would love feedbackWell, I like it. As opposed to many travel sites I’ve seen, it’s understated and yet produces good information.
I didn’t find usability a problem at all. What specific usability issues did you have?

In reply to: Dangerous – Bluehost Fantastico auto-install WordPress…?You can always manually upgrade a fantastico install. I do it all the time. Fantastico won’t upgrade afterward, or keep track of version, unless you edit the fantversion.php file.
Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Dangerous – Bluehost Fantastico auto-install WordPress…?Depends on whether the version fantastico has is one of the compromised distros. No clue about that, no one addressed fantastico.
You can always manually upgrade a fantastico install. And no, there’s no “auto-upgrade” – you have to keep checking your fantastico front-end to see when they get the latest version.
