In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - more than just a page builder] Page_code_hungHey @sebastot , this issue is more specific since it only occurs on certain pages for the creator of the topic.
Although the steps offered here can help, I’d recommend you open a new topic if you really require support on this topic.
If you are an Elementor Pro user, it’s recommended to open a ticket via my.elementor.com , the support service works 24/7 there.
Hey, I think I’ve managed to Re-create the issue you speak of, check this screenshot. https://i.imgur.com/8eMUK29.png
From what I can see it seems like a 500 error, along with other things, (Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ())
500 errors are server issues that can result from several reasons, I would recommend contacting your hosting company to see if they might have some leads on the error codes.
To troubleshoot this issue, follow these instructions:
Try to deactivate Non-essential plugins one by one, and check if it helps after each deactivation. If it helped, try to activate them one by one until the issue comes back.If it doesn’t help, try to rule out a theme conflict by switching to some default WP theme like the 2021 theme.
Lastly, you can find more clues on your issue by locating PHP errors relating to Elementor, at Elementor > System info. The PHP errors are almost at the bottom.
Hey, are you referring to the Text Editor Widget?
If you have the Optimized Dom feature enabled, it’s a probable cause of the issue. https://prnt.sc/1786tgd
We have a known bug with the Text editor widget when this feature is enabled. Could you please disable that feature and let me know how it goes?
If the problem persists then Is it possible that you will make a short Screencast, demonstrating this issue?
Hey, I can see that your site uses Elementor Pro.
Since you are a pro user, you need to open a ticket at at my.elementor.com.
WordPress.org rules state that commercial products are not supported here.
Hi, there are a few possible methods on how to achieve this.
First of all, you can attach a custom-made background image to the heading.
Create an image with just the blue line and some invisible/white space above it then add it to the widget or column’s background. This will achieve the desired effect.
In addition, our pro widget has a widget that achieves this with animations, like having the line show up when the element first appears.
Lastly, some simple CSS effects might be able to do that as well, check out this guide for instance: https://css-tricks.com/styling-underlines-web/
Hope it helps.
Since you are the developer of your plugin, I would recommend opening a query in our Github account where you may get in contact with a member of our development team to check your query.
Check out our Elementor Github page here:

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - more than just a page builder] Page_code_hungHey, have you tried to use safe mode to edit this specific page?
“Safe Mode” is a safe environment that isolates Elementor and WordPress from all themes and plugins, it helps multiple users solve issues like this.
Read about the feature here: https://elementor.com/help/what-is-safe-mode/
You mentioned that you have a “white screen” when trying to edit this particular page, is that the white screen you receive? https://i.imgur.com/iojY5uR.png
If the white screen is like shown in the screenshot, there are several causes for such an issue, Safe mode addresses a good chunk of those, though.
Hope it helps, let me need if you need more assistance.
Hey, sorry to hear that your script creates a conflict with Elementor.
Is it an Existing script that suddenly broke after one of Elementor’s updates?
If so, it’s possible that some code became deprecated or some other factor caused the clash.
Check out our Developers Site for updates on Elementor’s code.
Since this is a development-based query, I would recommend visiting our Github account where you may get in contact with a member of our development team to query this with.
Please follow this guide which outlines the steps required to post on our Github: https://github.com/elementor/elementor/blob/master/.github/CONTRIBUTING.md
You Can also check out our Dedicated Forum, you can consult on your script there if you’d like:
https://forum.elementor.com/Hey, I entered the linked site you have sent, and I couldn’t replicate the issue?
Is this query still relevant? if it does, sharing PHP errors from the site can help a lot.
On your site’s WP dashboard, go to Elementor > system info. Scroll down to the bottom, if you can see any copy them send the error codes here. You can copy only the error part of the error code if you have any privacy concerns.
Hey, it sounds like you need a more Responsive widget to showcase your Images. Try to use a Different widget to see if it helps.
You can try a different codeless solution by downloading an add-on that gives you different widgets/ lightbox to work with. Something that will suit your needs better.
Try to search for Elementor addons at the Free WP plugin store, In addition so simply using Elementor add-ons, any Gutenberg block can be inserted and used with the Elementor Editor.
Check out our officially recognized Addons in this link as well.
Hope it helps you somewhat, let me know if you need further assistance.
Hey, I’ve looked into your site, it seems like the content only goes left in Desktop mode.
Try to Edit your Template to get rid of it. A possible fix here would be to use the “full width” layout.
When Editing the Template, Click on the gear icon in the Bottom-left Corner. This opens the “page settings” sidebar.
You’ll see a “page layout” setting there, choose “Elementor Full-width”, and check if it changes anything.
Hope this will help you out.
Hi, it does indeed seem like a bug report with the embedding method.
In General, External File is a newer method to embed CSS, and it results in a faster page-load speed and higher google insight scores.
Since this is a development-based query, you may opt to visit our Github account where you may get in contact with a member of our development team to report on this bug.
Please note that this is not an official support channel but a respective member of the development team will respond to your post as soon as they are available.

Hey, You can set a mobile background to your site through Elementor’s site settings. I can’t be certain whether it will override your “interactive background via HTML”, but it’s worth a try:
Open the Elementor Editor, and click on the “hamburger menu” at the top-left corner, then click on the “site settings” button. https://i.imgur.com/Ppq2tYr.png
You will find the Background Setting in the lower part of the list of settings, You can choose an Image background for different responsive modes there. https://i.imgur.com/vzSGPSE.png
Hope it helps, let me know if you have any more questions.
Hey, Every Elementor “element” (Section, column or individual widget) Has an “advanced” tab when you look at it through the editor.
At the Responsive tab there, you can make the Element hide on mobile/tablet. https://i.imgur.com/RICvz5u.png

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - more than just a page builder] FooterHey, I’ve entered your site and played around the footer in responsive mode.
Seems like the mobile version of the “menu” in the footer is designed to be vertical, once the Width falls beneath ~600px.
In general, you can’t edit your header and footer directly through Elementor, it’s only achievable using the Pro plugin.
If your header and footer are considered a part of your theme, try to edit your theme(advanced users only).
Otherwise, I’d suggest trying a footer-header builder, Our Hello Theme provides this function in the Appearance > Customize in the WP dashboard. Other plugins can also achieve this function (including our Pro plugin)
Hope it helps.
