Glad it works now @cruelly and thanks for letting us know.
Hi @cruelly
thanks for creating the issue. We have a similar report in https://forum.matomo.org/t/error-class-c-component-registry-not-found/36797/2 where a user was using an outdated version of NextGen Gallery. Is this maybe the case for you too and if so, could you maybe update it to a newer version? They might have fixed this issue in https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-thrown-class-c_component_registry-not-found/
If that’s not the case, could you maybe send us the system report either as a comment here or by email to WordPress at matomo.org ? Here’s the info on how to get the system report: https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/how-do-i-find-and-copy-the-system-report-in-matomo-for-wordpress/

In the WordPress Admin Dashboard this would likely not come available any time soon unfortunately. We’ll have a look though.
@awilmsmeier it’s not possible just yet. Be indeed quite valuable though. Created an issue for this here: https://github.com/matomo-org/matomo/issues/15992
Thanks for confirming. Yes I know it’s not ideal. I’ve updated https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/does-it-support-wp-multisite/ yesterday to also make this bit more clear. There’s also always Matomo On-Premise as mentioned in the FAQ. This would allow to install a separate Matomo outside of WordPress where then everything is managed in one central place.
@ams0bart could you send us the output of your system report to wordpress@matomo.org see https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/how-do-i-find-and-copy-the-system-report-in-matomo-for-wordpress/ ?
That would be helpful cause such a failed query should not block the login etc. At least I can’t reproduce this here so I’d be keen to install the same plugins etc to try to reproduce this.
Sorry I meant can you still log in for example?
Thanks @ams0bart and sorry about that.
Only now seeing the method that returns the list of installed tables returns these tables hard coded for some reason 🙁
Do I see this right that does appears only in the logs but does not impact anything else?
@ams0bart just wanted to keep you updated that we have released an update with the fix now.
Thanks @codeispoetry
We have fixed the issue and released a new version. Be great if you can give it a try. I’m hoping things are working now and more clear.
Hi @awilmsmeier just wanted to let you now can pin a report from the Matomo summary page to the WordPress dashboard. Simply select the date you prefer in the top and then pin a report. You can also pin the same report for different dates.
Just wanted to keep you updated that we’re still working on a fix as it’s a bit complicated. We’re working on a fix in https://github.com/matomo-org/wp-matomo/pull/287/files
I’m hoping to have a solution by tomorrow or the day after.
@codeispoetry thanks once more for mentioning this issue. I’ll have a look into this today. There are some links generated wrongly https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/28226
And also noticed some settings are actually not applied across all blogs but must be configured for each blog which is quite annoying but I also don’t have an easy workaround just now. I’ll see what I can do and hoping to fix this ASAP.
Just letting you know we have prepared a fix in https://github.com/matomo-org/wp-matomo/pull/286/files
An alternative workaround, if possible, be to set the MySQL setting
innodb_large_prefixtoinnodb_large_prefix=1. Not needed though as we’ll take care of adjusting the fields in next update anyway.I’m planning to look into one other issue that might take a bit and then release a new version @ams0bart
Thanks for letting us know.
