Hi,
I’ve started over using the FAQs block in Avada and yes turned on FAQ on schema.
I have clicked on the “Fixed” button in Google Search console so await the outcome of their next scan.

You are convincing nobody. The huge number of complaints in the last7 days indicate that your last update 1.6.2. does not solve any of the issues.

You are deluding yourselves. Why not stop this stupidity over so-called “enhancements” such as PayPal Credit. Stop caving into PayPal and keep the old PayPal Checkout software.

Paypal will be toast eventually because of this sh*t plugin

Sounds good but which folder does WP Staging store the files?
My Control Panel only allows me one staging and I don’t want WP Staging to conflict with the existing one.

Thanks, but already tried it in staging and it kept on failing so we restored the old site using Woo/Paypal Checkout.

I can’t see many businesses risking loosing sales because of PP Payments’ failings. They are going to go elsewhere.

I suggest best not to deprecate PayPal Checkout for the foreseeable future.

I was too quick to hand out the plaudits.
Whilst your FAQ feature tested OK in code validation test, it failed the Google Search Console test for an FAQ page.

It returned the same error ““main-entity” is missing.”

Looks like a bit more development is required.

@art137 May I ask are you in the UK also and do you sell only to UK or other countries?

I wonder could it be connected to “Smart Buttons”. I had a similar issue there on my staging site which uses PayPal Express.
Thankfully the guys at Express tweaked their code and now it works.

Hi Gabriel,

You recommend PayPal Payments but it has been receiving horrendously bad reviews! The one stars outnumber the five stars by over 9 to 1. That is precisely why I have been avoiding taking the “update”. It is a horror story and it’s understandable that businesses do not want to risk loosing sales because of it.

Hi,
The plugin developers are looking into it but I understand they work closely with Woocommerce on the integration. Plus there are others like PPE who develop speedy payment flows.
It’s basically Woocommerce’s platform that others work on to provide enhancements to the Woocommerce/PayPal checkout gateway.

I would have thought you would have enough skin in the game to investigate given that the Woo/Paypal checkout has its own limitations

I thought that a post code was required by default. It’s not something that I have selected or changed. I sell from the UK within UK only. To try and get it to work I have tried every different combination of selling to various countries and store locale etc but it still gives the error.
The error only happens when “Smart Buttons” are specified. This is a staging site and I am reluctant to switch it to live whilst these smart buttons cause the problem.

Did a lot more testing and it looks like the problem is related to the so-called “smart buttons”. When I turn them off, the process works correctly.
