At first I considered styling these page titles the same color as the background but that may introduce other problems.

The Codex upgrade instructions refer to accessing the files via FTP, but I’ve never had access to these files since they’re hosted by WordPress.
I may have to “punt” and start the new blog from scratch.
Any other methods of moving a WP-hosted blog to another location, intact?
