In reply to: edit_post_link() issueYeah, I installed 1.2.2 and no go. Still brokies. I guess we have to wait for 1.3?

In reply to: edit_post_link() issueI’m on 1.2.1 but I’m going to try upgrading to 1.2.2 tonight to see if that makes a difference. Fingers crossed!

In reply to: edit_post_link() issueIt hasn’t for me, but thanks for the advice anyway. This problem always screws up the login for that great MicroWiki plugin. I read in some other thread (looking for it now) that this is solved in 1.2.2, but I have yet to upgrade–no time at the moment. I hope upgrading works 🙂

In reply to: How do I search this forum??Ah, I see–cool. Thanks for the link, Podz!
Hey sserendipity, I can’t seem to find 1.4 on Owen’s site–where did you find it? I tried DLing it in 2 different browsers and even emptied my cache in one of them just to be sure it wasn’t just my browser being lazy–each time I DLed microwiki.zip I got 1.2. I did install the wp-wiki plugin and while it doesn’t create a separate wiki, it does effectively turn WP into a Wiki, which is kind of cool. I have yet to decide if I really like that or not… would still love to figure this one out.
Oh and the link to my proper wiki is: http://thepete.com/index.php?static=thewiki
Feel free to register & try to log in. It still doesn’t work for me 🙁For me it was: http://thepete.com/index.php?static=wiki
That automatically links to my wiki’s home page–of course, for some reason I can’t log in with Firefox for Mac or Explorer for PC–is anyone else having that problem?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: index.php outside of WP directory?Yikes–well, I don’t want to upgrade until it’s definitely stable. I had enough trouble just figuring out how/why everything does what it does. Still, I’ll never look back to Greymatter. WP is a whole new world. (cue Disney music). Anyway, thanks for the advice. For now I edit it in WP then FTP it to my desktop and back to the right directory. C’est la vie…

In reply to: Registration To View Certain CategoriesI think I could make that work… thanks for posting it Iddapidda!
I’d still love to see a plugin that would limit visibility based on logged in-ness, however…Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: index.php outside of WP directory? Thanks for trying Ryan!
Snowgoon–will upgrading to 1.3 be easy? I’m very scared of upgrading–it’s taken weeks of tweaking to get my site as good as it is (still not perfect). I don’t want to have to go and tweak it all again for another few weeks.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: email posts to and from WPWell, it’s nice to know someone else is having the same problem–I just wish someone else could give us some advice on this. We can’t be the only two people who have had this problem…

In reply to: Registration To View Certain CategoriesThat’s a good idea–anyone have this?

In reply to: WP 1.2, StatisticsOh, man–I hate to add to this thread, but I have a very simple question to ask. Honestly, this thread is sooo long and most of the posts don’t seem to have anything to do with what I’m trying to do so I didn’t read it all.
So, in a nutshell, I’d love to be able to:
1) call all of the stats in a separate page.
2) have the General Stats only show up on the main page or an entry page.
I apologize if these questions have been answered–I tried digging through this thread but I really couldn’t make heads or tails of the few posts that seemed to be talking about what I want to do. I’m a WP & PHP noob, but I’m not an idiot. If I can get detailed instructions, I can follow them just fine. Thanks in advance!!
