Thanks Shawn – it listed an arbitrary 36. I will see what happens by doing step 4, which wasn’t set, but it wasn’t 10, so I’m wondering if that is really the issue. I guess we’ll find out in 24ish hours.
Yeah, thanks – the issue was Payments vs Checkouts. Appreciated!

In reply to: Changed URL and cannot access/login to anything“And that sounds great, would I be able to move the old WordPress.org site over to the new domain with that?”
Yes. But you will need to get hosting credentials for sure. A WordPress login isn’t enough.

In reply to: Changed URL and cannot access/login to anythingHope I can chime in and help here.
To add another analogy, right now you have a domain, which I liken to a computer case. You don’t have the hosting, which is basically the stuff inside the case. A computer case doesn’t turn on without the innards.
I’m not entirely clear what you did with the files, and where they are now. But when you inherit a website, you need access to hosting credentials as well as the files. Have you done anything with FTP at all? Or was your hosting simply redirected? I can’t tell exactly.
As James said, you can purchase hosting (Namecheap happens to have this too) and there is a concierge team who can help with migrating things over, as it may be a little complex considering where you are right now. This may be an option worth pursuing.
(and I’d give you a second 5 star review, but I can’t!!!) 🙃
Thanks Mike! “Alternative fix” worked. Sweeeeeeeeet.
Nope. It was already unchecked.
Sure thing – [edited]

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Shipping/return policyOh duh, it was right there.
But I didn’t have Commerce Manager set up already since Facebook for WooCommerce doesn’t seem to rely on it… so now I have two items in a live catalog and 0 products in the catalog I just created.

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Shipping/return policyThanks Marcus!
So yes, I’m in one of the category exceptions. How do I change this?
Ah, so it sounds like my best bet is to manually add the GTM tags on my own and forego Site Kit on the homepage. That’s totally fine and I understand this would be WAY beyond the scope of support. Thanks!!!!
Thanks!!!

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Automatic updateI’m not sure if we’re on the same page, Simon, since it sounds to me like you’re talking about something else.
I manually updated the plugin already. I will let you know what happens (if I recall) when there’s a new release to the existing plugin because that’s the only way I can tell you if automatic update works or not.
thanks.
Hi Renee, I’m going to delete this but it’s at the root directory of the domain in question – custompage.txt.
I followed this methodology to do this:
https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-create-a-custom-page-in-wordpress/Hope you can pull it up. I realize by doing this, I lose the WordPress functionality. So how do we make both work?
