You will need to edit your template in order to modify this. I assume you are not technical, but usually the term ‘banner’ or ‘ad’ appears in the source code of the template where an ad displays. You can replace this with:
<?php advman_ad(‘name’); ?>
(where ‘name’ is the name of your ad in Advertising Manager)
if you want Advertising Manager to manage the ads for you.
Hope this helps,

Thanks for the suggestion. So I think you want the admin to enable specific blogs access to advertising manager? I will add this to the list.
Cheers,

In reply to: Advertising Manager ! Serious QuestionHi –
With the new type of Google Adsense tags, Advertising Manager just puts the tags directly in the blog, which is consistent with the Google terms and conditions. No need to worry.

In reply to: [Plugin: Advertising Manager] unable to add ad after moving to live siteedwardnh: Do you have a ton of tags or categories? Newer versions of Advertising Manager load ALL of these in the web page, and if you have thousands, it may not load correctly. I will make a change to the form so that this is no longer an issue.
Cheers,
ScottAll of advertising manager data is stored in wp_options, where the option_name = ‘plugin_advman*’.
Please do me a favor and BACKUP your old and new blogs before copying this data over!

Sorry for the delay here. Adsense Manager has been superceded by Advertising Manager. Remove Adsense Manager, and install Advertising Manager to keep up to date.

Great idea. I will be working on this and a few other ideas shortly. To track this issue, go here:

If the ad does not show up in preview, it is most likely an issue with Google Adsense.
It could be a system error on their side (if there is a system error, Google will serve a blank), or they simply decided not to show you an ad. They do this if you serve too many ads per page, or from other arbitrary reasons.

That is fine as well – this was an adsense manager tag that advertising manager supports for backwards compatibility.
