For some reason the ‘OX_LIB’ does not resolve to a folder on your system. Would you mind telling me the version of PHP, Advertising Manager, and WordPress you are using?
Please contact me via skype (switzer) if you want to fix this real time.

In reply to: [Plugin: Advertising Manager] Can I ad Flash banners with plugin?Shane,
Thanks for the message. It is not a slick process, but you can. Basically, you need to add the HTML around the flash URL so that flash is called.
Here is what we use with the OpenX ad server:
<object width="{width}" height="{height}" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="{flash-url}" id="SWF_AD_{id}"> <param value="{flash-url}" name="movie"> <param value="clickTARGET=_blank&clickTAG={click-url}" name="FlashVars"> <param value="opaque" name="wmode"> <param value="autohigh" name="quality"> <param value="always" name="allowScriptAccess"> </object> <noscript> <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="{click-url}"> <IMG SRC="{image-url}" WIDTH="{width}" HEIGHT="{height}" BORDER="0"> </A> </noscript>Make sure to fill in the blanks:
{width} – width of the ad
{height} – height of the ad
{id} – the numeric ID of the ad (can just be a unique number as well)
{flash-url} – your flash URL (the one that you have above)
{click-url} – the url that you navigate to when you click the ad
{image-url} – the url of a backup image if the browser does not have flash installedVERY techie, I know – but I thought that you could use this until we get flash working out of the box in Advertising Manager.

In reply to: [Plugin: Advertising Manager] Error after upgrading to WP 2.9Krokkodriljo:
This has to do with the language files in Advertising Manager. I assume that you are using a non-english version of WordPress. Please tell me which one, and I will verify that it is fixed. I have already verified that Swedish is causing this error.

What version of PHP are you using? Also, can you confirm your WP and Advertising Manager versions?

In reply to: [Plugin: Advertising Manager] Multiple Ads?RoyCreative:
I have put any new features on hold until there are zero bugs. There are a few people who are finding issues that I am trying to resolve, and then I will outline a timetable for click tracking, and a number of other features that have been built.

This is not Advertising Manager code, but Advertising Manager could indirectly be triggering this. Please contact me via Skype (switzer) so that we can resolve.
Many thanks,

Doublecheck to see if the Author field in your new ad shows ‘All Authors’. I am happy to discuss with you via Skype (switzer).

ScottQuestion 1:
You can do this – name all the ads in your inventory the same thing, and set the ‘Max Ads Per Page’ to be 1 for all your ads. Then, add 4 ad spots, all requesting the name that you chose for your ads.
Question 2:
I agree – in the future, Advertising manager will have the ability to set the ‘zone’, and have the ability to ‘attach’ an ad to a particular zone (or zones) from the edit menu. This has been done in a significant upgrade, but I need to focus on stability for WP 2.9 before this happens.
Good luck,
