Hey @rogierlankhorst!
If your Open Graph tags (specifically og:url) changed along with your switch to https:// then you’ll need to switch those tags to reflect the previous URLs with http://
Once you do that, you’ll see your previous share numbers restored in the Share app.
If you have any questions or run into any issues, contact our support team through our official support page:
Hey @beezwaxx!
It looks like your theme’s structure changed so Sumo’s article detection (how it determines where to place the Share buttons when using article-dependent layouts) changed where it places them.
If you write in to our awesome support team (https://help.sumome.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) they’ll be able to let you know how to fix it. 🙂

Hey @vinaybmore!
Thank you for writing in. This issue has been resolved. Please upgrade to version 1.25 :>
Hey @radi_v!
We changed names from SumoMe to Sumo so the plugin was updated to change some of the branding.
That covers both 1.2.3 and 1.2.4. No functionality changes to the plugin were included.

Hey @howorks!
We changed names from SumoMe to Sumo so the plugin was updated to change some of the branding.
The most recent version is 1.2.4 — if you’re not seeing the option to update in the Installed Plugins section, deleting and re-installing the plugin should install the most recent version.
Hey @karenratte!
The SumoMe plugin doesn’t run in the background, and shouldn’t be doing anything when you’re not actively using it in WP Admin.
We also don’t include wp-load.php at all, so I don’t believe the issues you’re seeing are related to the SumoMe plugin.
If you’d like, you can follow up with our support team (https://help.sumome.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) with additional details and we can take a closer look.

Hey @psybloggers!
Took a quick look at your site and it looks like you have the wp_head action hook injecting the contents of your header content twice.
The SumoMe plugin adds the SumoMe install code through that action hook. So if it’s firing twice, then two install codes are present which can cause some serious issues.
Not sure exactly where that’s happening but it’s likely in your theme files, so you can start there. If you can’t find it we highly suggest checking with a developer.
Hope that helps!
Hey @jcnyc!
Let’s get your share numbers back. 🙂
SumoMe relies on your Open Graph tags to determine what is shared and what your share numbers are. If you don’t have Open Graph tags setup, it will use your actual page URL/Title.
If you’ve made changes to your pages’ URLs (e.g. switching from http:// to https://) your Open Graph tags may have changed as well.
To get your share numbers back the way they were, you will need to modify your Open Graph URL tag (og:url) to reflect the previous URL where your pages were located.
Check out our awesome FAQ that explains how SumoMe works and what it Shares:
* Share & Open Graph – https://help.sumome.com/hc/en-us/articles/218518148
You may need a plugin that manages your Open Graph tags in order to handle that for you.
