I wanted to reach out and express my gratitude for bringing to our attention the issue with our plugin. Thanks to your feedback, we were able to identify the problem and address it in the latest version of the plugin.
The Renewal Reminders plugin should be updated to the latest version 1.1.4, as it will not send renewal reminders to customers whose subscriptions are on hold.

Thanks for reporting the issue!
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with Renewal reminder plugin,
The plugin will not adjust the timings if a user is suspended or on hold of their subscription. Instead, It will send a notification for the current month.
We are currently working on more features, and what like to happen on different statuses. Hopefully, those features would be in future updates.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I appreciate your prompt response and your willingness to assist me with my query.
Yes based on your example if I have a monthly subscription for 12 months Starting today 13.04.2023 My next payment is on 13.05.2023 it’s a renewal subscription, but the actual subscription end date is 13.04.2024 it is correct. What our plugin is doing send a reminder to every customer x days before their subscription renews. So our plugin will send a renewal subscription reminder on 13.05.2023.

Subscriptions Renewal Reminders allows you to send your subscribers Renewal notifications by email X days before their subscription ends. Subscription ends mean their next payment renewal date. Our plugin basically works based on the next payment date. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the suggestions and recommendations you provided. But our plugin already has an email content edit section so if the customer wants to change the email content you can change it from the email content section https://prnt.sc/b8ueS29L_Zjc

We tested our plugin on our site, and it works as expected; we can see that customers are receiving renewal emails. You don’t need to add any corn on the server side, Bt needs to check and verify the corn is enabled on the server side. If cron is enabled server-side then please debug the issue from your side by following methods.
Debugging email sends Issues
If something is not working after an update, a likely cause is an outdated or non compatible plugin or theme. The best thing to do is to narrow down the cause. To do this you can temporarily:
Switch to a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twelve) and test again
Disable all other plugins except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Subscription Plugin itself, and retest, and re-activate plugins until the issue occurs. This will help you find the culprit.
Once the test completed please let us know.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.We have investigated the issue further and we could not replicate the issue on our site. The email notification is successfully sent to the recipients.
If you are still facing the issue, We recommended checking the corn Job on the server-side and site side, If the corn job is not working on the server and site then the email will not send automatically. Also please check cron is not blocked by adding code in your theme or wordpress config file.
Also please check subscriptions Next payment date and Notification send date are set as correct.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.
By checking your screenshot we can’t see our plugin scheduled corn events listed on your site so that is why the email is not sending from your site. We have tested the plugin from our test site and there is no issue with email sending.
We recommended deactivating the Subscriptions Renewal Reminders plugin and activating it again(*Note: No need to delete the plugin). Then check the renewal_reminders cron is showing on the cron schedule table https://prnt.sc/yC_fUASHIi6H.

The free version of the plugin will not be providing any additional shortcode/placeholder. If you need an additional shortcode/placeholder version, we will need to customize the current plugin. Customizations of plugins will be charged to customers.
Also current our plugin is not using any custom actions/hooks, We are only using defualt woocommerce / woocommerce subscritions hooks/actions.
