In reply to: [Search Everything] V. 8.1.8 hides all posts in bbpress forumJust to quickly follow up. We were experiencing an issue that was inadvertently searching-everything a little too literally. Having said that, the fix we put in I don’t believe would have impacted the particular issue you’re experiencing.
If you wouldn’t mind, please update to the latest version of Search Everything(v8.1.9) and try that out. If that doesn’t fix your issue, if you wouldn’t mind letting us know what version of WordPress you’re on, along with the PHP version and a quick way we can replicate the issue we’d be happy to take a look.

We’ve found the issue and have submitted a new version(8.1.9) of Search Everything. Apologies for the confusion and problems this caused.
@room34 is correct regarding the Or’s and And’s. We found the problem earlier but it took us a little longer than normal as we wanted to go through each option and test each option(especially the ones you all have encountered) before releasing a new version.
Of course, if you still encounter any issues with the new version, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We are aware that our 8.1.7 update has caused problems on certain sites. We have removed this update from the WP Directory and are working on an active fix. Version 8.1.6 is stable and fully functional.
For those that have already downloaded the 8.1.7 update and it has caused issues, the best solution is as follows:
Option 1
Contact your web hosting company, and have them delete the “search-everything” folder from the “wp-content/plugins/” folder.
Option 2 (for those comfortable managing files):
Log into your site’s files using the File Manager provided by your web hosting company or by using an FTP program (such as Filezilla).
Browse to “wp-content/plugins/” folder for your WordPress site.
Delete “search-everything” folder.
