  • Hi @kubilayakkiz

    That’s really odd!

    I’d like to investigate further.

    Please complete the following steps:

    1. Make sure that debug log is enabled at the bottom of this screen: WP Admin > Marketing > Facebook for WooCommerce so any sync issue will be logged

    2. Try to create a new variable product from scratch

    3. Grab the log from here: WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Logs > Select – Log under drop-down (right side) > Click – View button

    Look forward to your reply.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your question!

Simple products can be synchronized with facebook. but variant products cannot be after the last update

Can you please double check if your variable products don’t have validation issues? Here’s the list of validation issues.

Also, make sure to check another possible sync issue for variable products.

    I hope that helps!

Let me know how it goes!

    Hi @grimareaper

    Thanks for your reply!

Before i go about deleted catalogues that are already connected to ads and shops etc can you please confirm the following:

As there is no option to select a contentID type on the facebook for woocommerce product sync plugin, what is the default contentID that will be used and created for simple products or variable products

I’d like to clarify here there is no mention that I suggested you to delete the existing catalog.

What I said was: “To resolve these, I would suggest you to create a fresh Facebook catalog, and then disconnect the existing connection.”

In regards to your Content ID question, I can confirm the following:

    – If you haven’t added SKU to a product under inventory tab, your content_id would look like this: content_ids: [“wc_post_id_83”]. So the content ID will be the Post ID of the product.

    – If you have added an SKU the content_id will be SKU_post_id, it will look like: content_ids: [“FKNY_3117”]

When the product is a variation that would look like below (the variation will be indicated in the content_name, and if the variation doesn’t have specific SKU it will follow the parent SKU):

    content_name: [“Funky Variable – Blue”]
    content_ids: [“FKNY_3117”]

That confirmation tells that your second “problem” is actually not a problem. That’s expected I am afraid.

    You said before:

    1. simple products have a greyed out togglebox and advise they can only be edited via woocommerce.

    2. All of the products and variations have resynced with a contentid that is SKU_PRODUCTID or SKU_VARIATIONID and not just SKU

So it’s more on the first point simple products that are greyed out.

If you don’t want to create a new catalog, alternatively, you might want to try hiding these greyed-out products in the catalog.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @joyryde

Thanks for the feedback on the use of product ID, and Google recommends us to use SKU as the ID.

Due to the nature of this problem which is a bit complex, please kindly proceed creating a ticket with us as initially suggested by my colleague Augustus.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi there @grimareaper

    Thanks for your reply.

    Now, i have two issues.

    1. simple products have a greyed out togglebox and advise they can only be edited via woocommerce.
    2. All of the products and variations have resynced with a contentid that is SKU_PRODUCTID or SKU_VARIATIONID and not just SKU

I think these two issues are closely related to the way how your product sync to Facebook was configured, with additional plugins not just Facebook for WooCommerce.

To resolve these, I would suggest you to create a fresh Facebook catalog, and then disconnect the existing connection.

Try to create a new Facebook for WooCommerce connection and choose the newly created Facebook catalog.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @lolamax

I’m testing woocommerce subscriptions with WooCommerce Stripe Gateway. I experienced some issues with the 3DS flow

    Hi @megathawt

I’m just sayin’ — PLEASE! Fix the new thing before dropping support for the old, working thing!

    I understand that completely!

For now, I would say that we would need to wait for the final fix which is roughly coming in the second half of February as per Niklas said, from PayPal Payments support.

Have a great rest of your day!

    Hi @own3mall

Thanks for sharing all information regarding the query count you’re having on your WooCommerce site.

I understand that when viewing product category page you got 420 queries from WooCommerce:

How many queries you get it’s likely related to the size of your website.

When viewing a product category page on the front end of my site, I didn’t even get the WooCommerce sending queries:

I’d like to understand better your site, could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in the reply.

    Look forward to your reply.

    Hi @joyryde

    Thanks for your question!

Your plugin says Active: 3499 Yet Google Says Your API only sent 460 products.

    That’s strange!

But it could be related to your product variation count as well.

To understand better your site, could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status?

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in your reply.

    Hi there @devildad

    You said before:

Related products and Category products not showing 2 in a row on mobile

I checked the related products section on mobile and yes it’s not in a row (all products in one row).

On desktop, the related products section placing products in one row:

This is expected due to the mobile responsiveness of the theme.

If you want that the three products to be in one row on mobile, although I think that would look a bit weird, you can achieve it by using CSS code.

If you’d like to learn more about CSS, I highly recommend using the free tutorials at w3schools. Here, you can find the basics of selectors (how to target the right element on the page), and properties (how to change the element on the page).`

    I hope that helps!

    Hi there @yltan

I am facing issue where there is no shipping fee charges when I buy virtual product and physical product from the same store, if purchase from 2 different store able to display for the other seller which we buy physical product from

When you said “buy virtual product from the same store” is it from your own WooCommerce store?

if purchase from 2 different store able to display for the other seller which we buy physical product from

This is a bit confusing, so if you buy from other WooCommerce stores that works?

Please kindly clarify your problem that would be appreciated.

Secondly, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hi @kayart

There’s no real reason to call the function with a negative function. I was curious what the function would return if a negative number was passed as an argument.

    Ah I see thanks noted!

I think there is no further action required here now.

    Hi @tutumu

If I add manually the GA4 code and I keep your module (both with the same GA4 property)… then visited pages are registered. Must I keep both GA4 codes?

You don’t need to manually add GA4 code.

Please ensure that there is no manual code added on your site either GA3 or GA4.

    Here’s my setting using GA4:

    Hi @citizen2184

Because the product once was added to FB by WooCommerce FB integration, it can not be deleted manually at FB.

This kind of issue is usually caused by a broken sync where we can’t delete and Facebook says to delete it, we need to delete it from the WooCommerce integration.

Some users use the workaround of deleting the entire catalog, but that’s too much for some others.

I would suggest that you try to archive the product, that way you don’t need to delete the entire catalog.

Here’s the guide on how to archive an item on Facebook catalog: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/543317109402043?id=725943027795860

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @campkins

Below is the screenshot of the issue I’m having.

    https://snipboard.io/or5AZI.jpg

I checked it and couldn’t find the image that’s panning left.

What I see is for example it is pretty much centered:

    Link to image: https://d.pr/i/umeecT

The add to cart button grey which is not in line with my theme that is set to green.

You can customize the manually added product block add to cart button color by placing the following CSS:

    .wp-block-button__link {
    color: #fff;
    background-color: #3bb54a !important;
    }

You can add the above custom CSS here: Appearance > Customise > Additional CSS.

    I hope that helps!
