    Hi @wicksteads

Thanks for sharing more detail about your case.

Could you please let me know when this has been fixed or a better solution is found. (can’t really deactivate for hours as it will lose us customers from instagram and facebook)

Please note that when you deactivate temporarily the plugin, your products that are already synced to your shop will stay unaffected. So you won’t lose any potential customers that are looking at your shop.

As mentioned before we have an active bug report on this issue although it appears to be affecting a small portion of the plugin users.

Fingers crossed that this will be resolved soon as the developers are still investigating it.

    Hi @jojojijijojo

I’ve received a confirmation from the developers that yes this error notification is a bit confusing.

This error is essentially related to the Cart and Checkout block and it should not show unless the Cart and Checkout block is used.

Our developers are going to improve this error notification by making it clear that this error is related to the Cart and Checkout blocks and it will not show unless WooCommerce Blocks installed (where Cart and Checkout blocks is part of the plugin).

At the moment, you don’t have to worry about it as it only affects Cart & Checkout blocks, and, as you said, you don’t use WooCommerce Blocks plugin.

    Hi @orionaselite

Okay, so it seems that you are still having the issue?

I am re-opening this thread again so we can continue the troubleshooting.

I checked your System status report and found the following items:

    • PHP Time Limit: 60
    • WP Rocket

    Please do the following steps:

    • 0. Clear your cache created by WP Rocket
    • 1. Increase the PHP time limit from 60 to 1200, this is to ensure we can avoid timeouts when the extension is doing resync next time since timeout could result in broken and incomplete sync. Possibly, some of the products with no images are caused by incomplete sync process, the plugin got the time out before fully processing the sync completely. Here is the guide to change the setting: https://wpastra.com/docs/increase-php-time-limit-wordpress-sites/
    • 2. Please clear WooCommerce transient data, it’s cached data that we want to clear to ensure it’s not interfering with a proper product sync, you can do that by going here WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > WooCommerce transients > Click – Clear Transients (Button on right)
    • 3. You can do a manual resync to resolve those images in Facebook catalog that have no images or delete them from the catalog manually. To do manual resync (provided you have done PHP time limit and transient data clearing), navigate to Marketing > Facebook > Product sync, click Sync products

I hope that helps, let me know how it goes.

    Hi @prot0c0l

    Thanks for sharing the screenshots.

Yes, I was able to test then when Add to cart button was clicked, generated data saying it’s just a button click not Add to cart event.

However, I tested my own product on my test site, I didn’t see any error:

    Link to image: https://d.pr/i/ajBk8w

Therefore this must be a conflict either with your theme or one of your plugins.

Please kindly do a conflict test, the full guide is available here: Conflict Test Guide.

    Basically, you can:

    • Switch the theme temporarily to Storefront, check on the front end and test adding to cart and check again using Facebook pixel helper Chrome addon.
    • If that doesn’t resolve the issue, you might want to do plugins conflict test. Please refer to the above documentation (Conflict Test Guide)
    • If you have caching plugins, you can clear your cache and also disable them temporarily when you do test

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @arconsulting

thank you for your reply and desire to fix this. As this is a public site, I am uncomfortable putting this information online.

I think the best solution is for you to create a ticket directly then with us.

Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.

    Hi there @reneneef

    Thanks for contacting us!

Not sure if previously you had a connection already and now you’re trying to reconnect.

But it’s okay this failing connection usually is caused by several factors, it could there was an old connection data stored within the site, or some caching undermining the process.

Please do the following steps to resolve the issue.

    • Do a site database backup
    • Please increase your PHP Time Limit from currently 120 to 1200, this is to ensure we can avoid timeouts when the extension is doing resync next time since timeout could result in broken and incomplete sync. Here is the guide to change the setting: Increase PHP Time Limit in WordPress sites
    • Clear WooCommerce transient data, it’s cached data that we want to clear to ensure it’s not interfering with a proper product sync, you can do that by going here WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > WooCommerce transients > Click – Clear Transients (Button on right)
    • Deactivate Facebook for WooCommerce
    • Then navigate to your WordPress options page  https://www.liabox.com/wp-admin/options.php and please clear the value for the following fields, and click saves (the button is in the bottom of the page:

      wc_facebook_access_token
      wc_facebook_external_business_id
      wc_facebook_system_user_id
      wc_facebook_business_manager_id
      wc_facebook_commerce_merchant_settings_id
      wc_facebook_merchant_access_token
      wc_facebook_product_catalog_id
      wc_facebook_page_access_token
      wc_facebook_page_id
      wc_facebook_pixel_id

    • Once that’s done, please re-activate Facebook for WooCommerce extension
    • Navigate to this page WP Admin > Marketing > Facebook and then click Get Started to re-connect to your Facebook Business Manager, select the assets for Facebook Page, Pixel, and Catalog.

Please do the above steps and let me know how it goes!

    Hi @themarcopolo

I would suggest that you make a contact first as suggested by my colleague.

It could be the same VPS but a different domain name, hence, that possibility is still valid.

Once you’ve got feedback from your host, feel free to pass the information to us.

    Hi there @backpackingseries

Thanks for sharing the details of the issue.

I have passed this on to our developers, we’ll get back once we have something from them.
