In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Business Locations Not Showing (Square)Hi there @dustinw
That’s really odd that it doesn’t show any helpful log.
Could you please check if there is any critical error in the logs?
You can check the list of logs here WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
Look forward to your confirmation.

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Events issuesHi there @deny21
Thanks for sharing the Status report.
I have found the following issues that might have affected the plugin to work properly
WP Cron: –
It appears that WP Cron is not activated on your site, please activate it, as it’s very important because Facebook for WooCommerce relies on it heavily when doing product syncs.
PHP Time Limit: 120
It’s pretty low value, to ensure no issue with product sync please increase it to 1200
Facebook for WooCommerce: by Facebook – 2.4.1
There has been a lot of improvement with the latest version, please update to to the latest (2.5.1 as of now)
WP Rocket: by WP Media – 3.7.5
Please clear your cache regularly, if it’s possible to set it to clear cache every day. Caching plugin is known to interfere with the plugin sending events correctly to Facebook.
When you have done all the above, you can do a full resync of your products, by following the below steps:
- Clear WooCommerce transient data, it’s cached data that we want to clear to ensure it’s not interfering with a proper product sync, you can do that by going here WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > WooCommerce transients > Click – Clear Transients (Button on right)
- Navigate to Marketing > Facebook > Product sync, select Sync products
I hope that helps!

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Same Event ID Received for Many Event InstancesHi there @mrcrowlogy
Thanks for your question.
You’re correct that most possibly there is no sign of duplication in the log, and also code-wise there is no issue, as discussed in the above-mentioned Github link.
Also, we have confirmed that the plugin intelligently deduplicates events that are sent both from the browser pixel events and server-to-server events (Conversions API) to ensure no double-counted events.
With the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin, the same data that flows through Conversions API and the Facebook Pixel is deduplicated based on a unique event ID, so there’s no concern about the same events being double-counted.
This could be an intermittent issue affecting some users as I don’t have a similar issue too.
However, I have added your case too in the above Github open issue.
If you have made sure no other plugin that does FB pixel and also no caching plugins that could affect it, for now, I’d suggest manually click “Resolve” or “Ignore” on the Facebook site as we keep monitoring this and working on the above mentioned open issue, and also working with Facebook to ensure the accuracy of the report.
I hope that helps!

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Same product double time with different idHi there,
I checked log dated 31/5, I saw that the following content_ids are present:
246-01015_110_3786
246-01015_110_3785
246-01015_110_3784These IDs are in the body of the post request event after:
05-31-2021 @ 15:47:12 – Request
Request
method: POST
uri: https://graph.facebook.com/v9.0/180060157454563/items_batchTherefore, for now, I’d suggest you delete the duplicated ones that are in the box below:
Link to image: https://d.pr/i/IQ4k1XThese ones aren’t found in the log
Indeed, to avoid this to happen in the future please make sure:
1 – PHP time limit is set to 1200
1 – Regularly clear WooCommerce transient and orphaned variations at WooCommerce > Status > Tools. This is to ensure that no “cache/left over transient data” that could be synced as well to the Facebook catalog.
I hope that helps!

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Same product double time with different idHi there,
You mean to reconnect the woocommerce integration or keep it as it is?
I meant to keep as it is 🙂
Is there any way to sent the log private because it has all the ids from facebook.
You can open a ticket that puts you directly in touch with us privately.
You will need to create a WordPress.com account first, if you don’t have one yet, in order to be able to login and create a ticket, please follow the guidance here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/log-into-woocommerce-com-with-wordpress-com/
Let me know if you manage to create a ticket directly on WooCommerce.com so we can continue addressing your issue there!

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Same product double time with different idHi there @abelale
Thanks for confirming that you’ve done all the steps as suggested before.
(I hope you’ve already enabled it at Marketing > Facebook), Could you please share the latest log from Facebook for WooCommerce? I’d like to see if there is anything that could explain that the latest product upload created some duplication.
Link to image: https://d.pr/i/1g7jXQYou can grab the log here WooCommerce > Status > Logs and select Facebook for WooCommerce with the latest date.
Before recreate catalogue pixel and data feed i had two instances on data feed section on facebook. One products ….. – Ροή and the Woocomerce instegration now i have only one data feed. Can ou please explain me which is the right way to configure the catalogue?
That’s normal for you to keep the feed and also the integration APP for the source of the data sync.
Look forward to your reply in regards to the log!

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Some WooCommerce Categories Synced to Commerce ManagerHi there @dagurdagsson
Ah I see, thanks for your report on the documentation, I’ve reached out to our docs team that it has to be updated. The correct one is the one that’s on the right.
I’m probably going to restart the whole sync process. I’m constantly experiencing that products go into the state of “DeActivated”, although their configuration hasn’t been touched in WooCommerce. 🙂
I am not sure what happened in your case, but possibly that updates between versions of the plugin, or changes in permission within your Facebook assets might have in some ways affected the integration that has caused intermittent issues like products to get deactivated.
Also, you can usually click on the deactivated products and check for the details of why they’re deactivated and how to resolve them.
With that and this FB Product Set problem I think it’s best to completely restart. That will require a re-tag of some 100+ Instagram posts, but it isn’t something that I haven’t grown accustomed to.
I would suggest that you do a full resync instead of deleting the connection and redoing it.
I hope that helps!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WoocommerceHi there @btfquan
Thanks for sharing all the information so far.
Could you please do the following, I’d like to know more about your setup:
1) Can you please take the screenshot of that product setup, similar to this https://d.pr/i/XvJlNE (I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL here)
2) Could you please try to switch your theme to Storefront, and test again purchase flow? On the order received page, you should see the download section there, unless there is a theme/plugin conflict.
Link to image: https://d.pr/i/idYawHPlease do the above steps, look forward to your reply.

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Some WooCommerce Categories Synced to Commerce ManagerHi there @dagurdagsson
In the setup instructions (https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/) it states this “Please leave ‘Instagram Shopping’ unchecked”
Now I have not done that. What consequence does that have?
The consequence is that you can’t sync your products to Instagram for now. This is to be unselected because it usually triggers connection issues when you don’t have an eligible Instagram account.
If in the future you have an eligible Instagram shopping account, you can reconnect and then select the Instagram account.
About your second question:
And secondly.
The same instructions show that the “Product identifier” can be explicitly defined. In the instructions (picture) it has been defined as “SKU + Product ID”.Has this functionality been deprecated, because in my setup I do not have this option?
Can you please take a screenshot of your setup? Sorry, I couldn’t understand what you mean about the Product Identifier as I checked I didn’t mention that before.
I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply.
Hi there @2ysub2ysur
I’ve been working on this a bit more, but no solution yet. Didn’t realize it when I posted here originally, but everything is actually alright on Facebook’s end of things: the catalog is properly set up and products are syncing. It is just Instagram that isn’t connecting properly.
Glad that things on Facebook for WooCommerce’s end of things work fine.
I’m not sure if it’s something incorrect in the basic Instagram set-up, or a problem related to the website…or just a fluke with Instagram. We never had to verify the domain like is mentioned in the plugin documentation that you linked, so I am wondering if it has something to do with that.
I know this is probably beyond the scope of this plugin, but I wanted to post here as an update in case anyone else ever runs into this issue and is struggling!`
Indeed, it’s a bit tricky with enabling Instagram.
You need to check the following for IG to work with the plugin:
1) You have an Instagram account that’s eligible for IG Shopping, usually it’s a merchant based in the US
2) Change IG account from personal to Business
3) Make sure that IG account is connected to your Business Manager
If all of this has some issues, I’d suggest you to contact Facebook directly.
I hope that helps!
