In reply to: Slow page loadingIs anyone any the wiser with this whole issue of sites running slow?
I have about 6 WP sites on a server and yet only one is going incredibly slow. I have tried disabling the bulk of the plugins and still no signs of improvement.
What else do I need to be looking for ?
Any help ould be much appreciated π

Thanks lbessant πIt seems my .htaccess file went nuts and needed a lay down for a while.
It seems to be all sorted now, although I would like to know why it did that.

Other sites on my domain are working. It seems to be limited to this subdomain alone.To have the site up and running for full 24 hour period at the moment is proving to be very difficult.
I have a feeling this is not the webhost though – any idea how I can get to my .htaccess through ftp [using WS_FTP Pro]

Mine is working now and it seemed to be related to a missing siturl specification which I changed in myphpadmin.It was only reading http:
Changed to http://shadows.os42.com and it resolved the issue.
Hope that helps any others with the same issue.
