In reply to: Uploading imagesInteresting. I went from Plesk to c-Panel because I couldn’t change permissions. Never tried creating a new folder though. But c-Panel is pretty slick, more powerful. I am going to migrate everything eventually. Glad it working!
I use Dreamweaver to code server-side and in the above process I discovered Capatain FTP for upload/delete management. Mac only though and very easy to use.
The next chapter is audio and video I hope! Just started researching.

my high school blog = the committee is having same issues = no password. i put several static pages in front of wp to give them directions that would be easy to decipher…

i am getting to the point where i have given up on registration and will open the site up to what ever. my generation might have missed the big boat ;-o but.
which raises the question = can a person write and edit their own story without registering = i.e. anyone could be an “author”? possible? i would have to “give” everyone the same password? if yes, what is down side?

ok, looked at my very latest post today = 5/15/07, a mini-post using mini-post widget. i looked at the post code directly via admin panel and the code looks correct. i then went into mini-post options and the following code =
mini-post format = <br>%date% %post% %more% %commentcount%
is there a problem here because it would account for quite a few errors?!

In reply to: Firefox and Flickrotto, no argument with your POV. at issue may be my inability to decipher the validator. i find it hard to locate where the error sits in the document. i have gone through the FAQ’s, the this and that, etc. any light on this one? the site below has 86 non-valid issues.
doodlebee, welcome back… while waiting i went directly to firefox support. i was instructed to open a new profile and everything is working. now i have to add the items back and see if there is a conflict or maybe something was corrupt. i might just let sleeping dogs lie and rebuild on an as-needed basis.

In reply to: Firefox and Flickrdoodlebee, there you are! i am on a mac and use safari. since working with WP i have gotten away from IE – entirely.
i have done the validator thing and there are lot’s of errors that look ok! the validator has issues 😉 but let’s see where this discussion ends up 3-6 months from now.
i am working on css through the backdoor = firefox/dreamweaver then try to recreate in css. it is a slow process at this end.
do you need a link to help me with flickr? thanks!
