Thanks for the feedback 🙂 We are gradually evolving PesaPress to be much more simpler and more user friendly with less configurations. There is something we are working on that will hopefully benefit you and make things a lot easier for you and your site.
With PesaPress WooCommerce integration, it currently uses the selected gateway in the settings, and I do agree it should allow for selection of more than one gateway from those already integrated and saved in the backend.Warm Regards

Hope you are well today and thank you for using our plugin 🙂 Kindly confirm if you have set the name of the gateway in your WooCommerce gateway settings. If this still shows blank, you may also look at our other plugin PesaPress that offers the same functionality but with a better UI.

Hope you re well today. I haven’t seen any changes on this and it’s been almost a month. The change should take about 2 minutes to make and shouldn’t break anything. You are really pushing me to use other form plugins at this rate.

Thanks for your feedback. I have seen there is https://www.directpay.online/online-payments-zambia/ but Im not sure they have an API. PesaPal can be slow to respond, even local Kenyans find them frustrating to use. I am currently trying to work on a unified system (hosted and self-hosted) to help people try manage issues with PesaPal and the IPN urls.

Thank you for the clarification and you are most welcome, I believe quick and adequate responses makes things move faster in our society 🙂
To answer your question, yes, the IPN url is correct though there have been some issues with PesaPal on sending back IPN responses. On the conversion rate it would be best to ask PesaPal on this, as I do not know what rates they use against.
Are there any other online payment providers available in Zambia that perhaps I could develop for you to work with WooCommerce? Is there a specific reason you opted to use PesaPal?Warm Regards

Hope you are well today and thank you for your response. To try and answer your questions, could you please assist with the following:
- The currency conversion to USD, is this done on the PesaPal checkout page (the iframe)?
- Have you set up your PesaPal IPN as per the instructions in the gateway?
- Are you using live or sandbox mode? Sandbox wont update IPN calls
For the Zambia Kwacha, the payment gateway will use your stores currency and this will be sent to PesaPal for processing.
