    Yessss it worked! thanks manish 😉

    I should put in my signature that my site is localhost BTW, so I can never post it sadly. It seems like there’s no signature function, however!

    BTW, do you know if there’s a way so the full width of the line is always used? Basically to not make them jump one line and to change the space dynamically in function of how many links there are, you know?

    Resolved!

    Thanks, I believe I found the solution.

    I had around 11 images all in one <tr> and it seems like WordPress squeezes / resizes them to make them all fit on one line. width: 100% and height: auto were a part of the problem here. I removed this and set the size of the images. I then split the amount of pictures that would fit into the width of the site into <tr>’s and it’s all working fine now. Thanks!

    They are obviously positive. Have you checked the code snippet above? 😉 You can’t do much wrong.

    I am using a child theme of the 2012 theme. It doesn’t have much differences. I have the stylesheet copied for example with the code snippet posted above in there.

    I don’t think it’s necessary to validate any files, look at the code(s) above, nothing’s wrong there. And that’s the only thing I changed!

    Well, the site is on localhost, so I can’t send you a link sadly, neither I can test the validator.

    Here are both pieces of code:

    <table>
    <tr>
    <td><a href="bilder/1000.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1000.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    <td><a href="bilder/1001.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1001.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    <td><a href="bilder/1002.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1002.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    <td><a href="bilder/1003.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1003.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    <td><a href="bilder/1004.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1004.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    <td><a href="bilder/1005.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1005.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    <td><a href="bilder/1006.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1006.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    <td><a href="bilder/1007.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1007.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    <td><a href="bilder/1008.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1008.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    <td><a href="bilder/1009.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1009.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    <td><a href="bilder/1010.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1010.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    <td><a href="bilder/1011.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]"><img src="bilder/miniaturen/1011.jpg" class="gallerie-bilder" /></a></td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    .gallerie-bilder {
        width: 100%;
        height: auto;
    }

    This was the second try. When I tried it the slightly other way (by having the class on the table, and not the images), it did exactly the same.

    Thanks, I’ve just tried this! It’s weird, because it worked for 3 images (out of 12). What am I doing wrong?

    Edit: Even weirder stuff is happening, as I reload the page, sometimes only two images would be big enough, sometimes other ones are too small, it seems to vary all the time. How can this be?

    Edit #2: I’ve tried to put the class on the image instead of the table this time, same effect. Could it be that WordPress is preventing to have too many big images somehow? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen settings like this somewhere.

    (@revs)

    Yes that will most likely remove it. I don’t want to remove it however, I just want to make the word “WordPress” the link to wordpress.org, instead of the whole sentence.

    But this sentence is saved somewhere else, in a language pack probably, because I’m not using WP in english!

    (@revs)

    Here’s what I have:

    <div class="site-info">
    			<?php do_action( 'twentytwelve_credits' ); ?>
    			<a href="<?php echo esc_url( __( 'http://wordpress.org/', 'twentytwelve' ) ); ?>" title="<?php esc_attr_e( 'Semantic Personal Publishing Platform', 'twentytwelve' ); ?>"><?php printf( __( 'Proudly powered by %s', 'twentytwelve' ), 'WordPress' ); ?></a>
    		</div><!— .site-info -->

    But I have the site in german, this line for me does not appear in english therefore, but in german. Where can I modify this?

    Thread Starter Foliferous

    (@revs)

    Oops, it’s the Twenty Twelve theme, version 3.5.1 like mentioned in the right column and german pack like mentioned in the first post 🙂

    Sadly it’s localhost only at the moment. Yes I have, I can see the english text but where are the language files stored? I guess that’s what I would need.

    (@revs)

    Nobody knows?

    Thread Starter Foliferous

    (@revs)

    SORRY! It works 🙂

    I forgot a piece of code… thanks for the help, that was the solution! I need to rename them into something different!

    Thread Starter Foliferous

    (@revs)

    Oh, I didn’t know they shouldn’t have the same name.

    I renamed the function into something else, it still doesn’t work but I have no error anymore and the page appears normally now!

    Here’s my child theme code:

    <?php

    // ———— FAVICON ————

    function favicon_link() {
        echo '<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" href="icons/favicon.png" />' . "\n";
    }
    add_action( 'wp_head', 'favicon_link' );

    // ———— STARTSEITEN LINK ————

    function sommer2013_page_menu_args( $args ) {
    	if ( ! isset( $args['show_home'] ) )
    		$args['show_home'] = Startseite;
    	return $args;
    }

    ?>

    Where you see “Startseite”, this is meant to replace “Home” on the main page. I’ve found this way of doing it somewhere on here. It worked fine when I was changing that in function.php of the parent theme.

    Thread Starter Foliferous

    (@revs)

    Oh, not bad either! I’ll look into it, cheers.

    By the way, I just have another question. Is there a way to not use the complete file path to the image?

    It’s because I’m working on localhost, so when I put my site online, I’d like to avoid changing all the links. My image is in a folder called “icons”, why does (“icons/image.png”) not work? I also tried (“../icons/image.png”) and also tried the attribute background-image instead of background. Also tried using ‘ instead of ” but nothing worked!
