Hi @msharrison1971,
What you are describing here is the content protection feature of LifterLMS. It can be enabled or disabled by following the instructions in lifterlms.com/docs/content-protection-feature-prevent-copying-of-content.
You are correct, however, that this content protection applies to the entire site. We do have an existing feature request to enable/disable content protection based on post types. So, for example, you may want to enable content protection only for the course and lesson post types, but have it disabled for all other post types. In this case, you can find that feature request by following the instructions in lifterlms.com/docs/how-does-lifterlms-handle-feature-requests/#before-submitting and searching for"Content protection enabled on specific post types, but not others".Hi @bellarose143,
You are correct that you really do need to request the progress of each lesson one lesson at a time. In this case, what you can do is to file a feature request by following the instructions in lifterlms.com/docs/can-submit-feature-request.
Once you file a feature request, our product team will review it. We may add it to our public-facing feature request board on Trello. This is the place where our users can vote on requests for new features.
Here’s information on how we handle feature requests and other factors determining our focus for future product development. Just note that we cannot give you an estimated timeline on when these features will be considered for development.
Hi @msharrison1971,
This is a known issue. To fix the problem, please open your student dashboard page on the backend. Then please replace[lifterlms_my_account]with[lifterlms_my_account layout="column"]. Kindly let us know how this solution works for you.Hi @aeonlove,
I’m glad you found our workaround helpful. We’ll mark this issue as resolved now. However, if you have more questions or if you need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to open up new forum topics. We’re here to help!Hi @unbroken1,

We need to clarify what you mean so we can better assist you. Does each of your subjects correspond 1-to-1 to sections in the LifterLMS course builder? In this case, you can just award your LifterLMS achievements in response to section completion. To do that, please create LifterLMS engagements by following the instructions in lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-create-an-achievement. When following these instructions, please don’t forget to setTriggering EventtoStudent completes a section.
If your subjects are just lessons, that is also possible. In this case, theTriggering Eventshould be set toStudent completes a lesson.Hi @aeonlove,
What is available at the moment is to use thecategoryparameter of the[lifterlms_courses]shortcode, like in[lifterlms_courses category="example-slug"]. In this workaround, you’ll need to create a corresponding course category for each level of course difficulty. On the other hand, if that is not a workaround that fits your needs, you may need to submit a feature request, as documented in lifterlms.com/docs/can-submit-feature-request.
Hi @himidia,
I’m glad you were able to solve question 1. As for question 2, we are not able to replicate that same issue on our demo/test sites when the only plugin installed is LifterLMS 8.0.0 and nothing else while the active theme is the Twenty Twenty-Five theme. Since we cannot reproduce the same issue on our end, it is possible that some theme or 3rd party plugin is causing the redirect to
wp-admin/. As a result, kindly rule out theme conflicts and plugin conflicts.- Rule out theme conflicts. Please temporarily switch from your current theme to any other default theme (e.g., the Twenty Twenty-Five theme) on your WordPress site. Then, check your website again. If the problem disappears, then there might be some conflicts with the theme. If there are theme conflicts, please update the conflicting theme if there are updates available. If the update does not fix the issue or if there are no updates available, please reach out to the support team of the conflicting theme. Please also let us know about the conflict.
- Rule out plugin conflicts. If the issue persists after you switched to a default theme, please deactivate all plugins on your website except the LifterLMS core plugin. Check to see if the issue disappears. If the issue disappears, then there is a plugin conflict somewhere. If there is a plugin conflict, reactivate each plugin one at a time until the problem re-appears. If you find the conflicting plugin, please update the conflicting plugin if there is an update available. If the update does not fix the issue or if there are no updates available, please reach out to the support team of the conflicting plugin. Please also let us know about the conflict.

Hi @bitfiremx,
As a follow-up, were you able to test out LifterLMS 8.0.0 and see if you can now embed iframes to question descriptions without having to override the file attemplates/quiz/questions/description.php?Hi @fizpropaganda,

Hi @fizpropaganda,
Kindly note that this needs to be implemented as a new feature of LifterLMS. We currently have an existing request for this our Trello board, as documented in lifterlms.com/docs/can-submit-feature-request. In particular, we have an existing feature request to “allow administrators to set an expiration date on enrollment when manually enrolling a student to a course.” If you’d like to add your vote to any feature request in our Trello board, you can log in to Trello or create a free Trello account.
In general, the more votes a feature request gets, the higher the chances are that we will develop it. Here’s a doc on how we handle feature requests and other factors that determine what we focus on. Just please note that we cannot give you an estimated timeline on when these features will be considered for development.
Hi @himidia,
I understand that you would like to add custom fields to the registration form. In this case, other than using the LifterLMS Custom Fields add-on, the only viable options, besides custom coding, are to use any of the available popular form plugins for which LifterLMS has an integration with. For example, you can use Gravity Forms to replace the registration form, as documented in lifterlms.com/docs/lifterlms-gravity-forms-installation. The only downside here is this will require the purchase of a few more add-ons to get it all to work. You can also use WPForms and Ninja forms, as documented in lifterlms.com/docs/getting-started-with-lifterlms-wpforms and lifterlms.com/docs/getting-started-with-lifterlms-ninja-forms.
