Hi @himidia,
“Question 1: What would be the best practice to do this? Is there any way to allow registrations without releasing access to the content of course 1?”
What you can do for the moment, using only LifterLMS and no other software, is to delay access to all the courses in the membership by a month. Then, additionally, you can make Course 1 the prerequisite of Course 2 so that Course 2 can only be accessed when Course 1 is completed by the student. Similarly, you can set Course 2 to be the prerequisite of Course 3 so that Course 3 can only be accessed when the student completes Course 2.
If you need a custom solution where Course 1 will only be available 1 month after enrollment, and course 2 will only be available 2 months after enrollment, and Course 3 will only be available 3 months after enrollment, then we recommend that you consider using a 3rd party plugin to create this desired automation.
For example, one such plugin is WP Fusion plugin (paid). If you use it along with a CRM that has a contact tagging feature, you should be able to create the desired automation described above. We have a blog post about using WP Fusion with LifterLMS in lifterlms.com/lifterlms-webinars/wp-fusion.“Question 2: Is there any good practice or a more automatic way to “hide” course content until everything is ready?”
For stand-alone courses (i.e., courses that are not part of a LifterLMS membership), what you can do is to hide that course from the course catalog page. You can do that by following the instructions in lifterlms.com/docs/can-hide-course-membership-catalog.However, for courses that are already part of a LifterLMS membership auto-enrollment, this is not possible. The workaround would be to use the prerequisite feature described in lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-set-a-prerequisite to “buy time” by forcing the student to finish Course 1 before they can finish Course 2. Another alternative is to just choose a fixed course start date that is different from the enrollment date.

In reply to: [LifterLMS - WP LMS for eLearning, Online Courses, & Quizzes] Date FormatHi @himidia,
I’m glad you are able to find a manual workaround. However, you mentioned that you want to force LifterLMS to use WordPress date/time settings. In this case, we recommend that you try using thellms_shortcode_course_infofilter for that shortcode. That filter is defined inwp-content/plugins/lifterlms/includes/shortcodes/class.llms.shortcodes.php.Hi @awjensen,

You should be able to use the Hello Elementor theme with LifterLMS.Just please note that potential conflicts are unavoidable since we do not own or control the source code of Hello Elementor. In the event the you enounter a theme issue, you can determine if it is a theme conflict or not by temporarily switching to any of the popular default themes (e.g., Twenty Twenty-Four, Kadence, etc.). You can also rule out 3rd party conflicts by ensuring that LifterLMS is the only plugin install and nothing else during your testing.
Hi @yourbudweiser,
We need to clarify what you mean, so we can better assist you. Could you please let us know what you mean by “enrollment type”? There are only three enrollment statuses in LifterLMS: enrolled, expired, and cancelled. If you want to modify the enrollment status of a student, kindly go to WordPress Dashboard > Orders then click on the order associated with the student enrollment. Then, under the Student Enrollment metabox of that order, click on the Status dropdown then select the new enrollment status before clicking on the Update Status button.
As for resetting exam attempts, that is not possible. Were you trying to allow your students to retake a quiz? If that is the case, you can edit the quiz in the course builder and then either disable limit attempts or set a higher attempt limit for the quiz (if there is already one). You can also consider allowing lesson retake, as you can read in lifterlms.com/docs/can-students-retake-lessons. Finally, if you would like to allow your students to retake a course from scratch, you may consider using the LifterLMS Course Cohorts add-on, as documented in lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-lifterlms-course-cohorts.
Finally, to add/edit/remove quizzes to lessons inside a course, kindly consult our help document in lifterlms.com/docs/using-course-builder.Hi @winterfin ,

Thank you for your patience. The stringFeatured Pricing Informationcan be translated when using the latest version of LifterLMS, as you can see in this screenshot. Similarly, the stringEnter information on pricing for this ...can also be translated when using the latest version of LifterLMS, as you can see in this screenshot. Similarly, the stringAccess plans define the payment options and access …can also be translated when using the latest version of LifterLMS, as you can see in this screenshot.
We also confirmed that the stringsGeneral Plan Information,Enroll Button Text,Plan PricingandPlan Typeare translatable using the latest version of LifterLMS, as you can see in this screenshot. Using the same methods, I also confirmed that the strings in the access plan dialog box (e.g.,Free access plan that never expires., etc.) are also translatable using the latest version of LifterLMS.Hi @kampot888,
It appears that there is, indeed, a plugin named Attendance Management for LifterLMS in WordPress.org. We recommend that you give that plugin a try. You may also reach out to their support team should have any concerns about their plugin.Hi @winterfin,
Could you remember the ticket number when you sent your ticket at lifterlms.com/my-account/my-tickets? I’m not able to see any unanswered tickets in our support inbox at the moment. So, I’m wondering if your ticket submission somehow went elsewhere in our system.
For the mean time, I understand that to implement the “7-day timer”, you are using LifterLMS drip functionality for lessons, as documented in lifterlms.com/docs/use-drip-content-lifterlms-lessons. Is this correct? In this case, please note that drip settings are not affected by monthly subscriptions. We also do not have any setting anywhere where subscriptions can be tied to drip settings.
In this case, we wonder if this is a theme conflict or a plugin conflict. To be sure, you can try to rule out theme conflicts and plugin conflicts. You can temporarily put your website in maintenance mode while performing the troubleshooting steps below.- Rule out potential theme conflicts. Please temporarily switch from your current theme to any other default theme (e.g., the Twenty Twenty-Five theme) on your WordPress site. Then, check your website again. If the problem disappears, then there might be some conflicts with the theme. If there are theme conflicts, please update the conflicting theme if there are updates available. If the update does not fix the issue or if there are no updates available, please reach out to the support team of the conflicting theme. Please also let us know about the conflict.
- Rule out potential plugin conflicts. If the issue persists after you switched to a default theme, please deactivate all plugins on your website except the LifterLMS core plugin and any LifterLMS payment gateway add-on you are using for subscriptions. Check to see if the issue disappears. If the issue disappears, then there is a plugin conflict somewhere. If there is a plugin conflict, reactivate each plugin one at a time until the problem re-appears. If you find the conflicting plugin, please update the conflicting plugin if there is an update available. If the update does not fix the issue or if there are no updates available, please reach out to the support team of the conflicting plugin. Please also let us know about the conflict.
Hi @kampot888,
Regarding the string “Can be resumed” string, I was able to translate it using Loco Translate, as you can see in this screenshot. Could you confirm if you are able to translate it when the latest version of LifterLMS is used? Please also confirm if there are no other translation plugins on your WordPress site that could be conflicting with Loco Translate.Hi @himidia,
Thank you for your patience. I enrolled in the course using the link you provided for access plan 1461. As soon as the enrollment was finished, I was redirected to the course page (and not on/wp-admin/). Is the issue already fixed?
Since the issue does not happen on my end when enrolling on a course on your website, then if you still experience the same issue on your end, this could only mean that your redirects are being cached. In this case, you or your students could try using a different browser and see if the issue happens there.
Regarding your question about adding sign-in and sign-out buttons in your site’s navigation menu, you can add the Sign In and Sign Out from of LifterLMS by navigating toWordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menus. You will find the Sign In and Sign Out links from LifterLMS underAdd menu items > LifterLMS. Kindly let us know if this solution works for you.
