@sioux23 – Is there a specific reason you are modifying the default file structure / location of a core WordPress installation?
Also, there is a fair sized error_log file, are there any relevant entries in it that might help you sort out this issue?
Thanks!

@hoffmaao – If you are wanting to change the sort order of an existing inserted display you will need to specifically change its “Sort or Exclude” option in its Insert Gallery Window (IGW) / Add Gallery button interface.
Thanks!

@philippes – As this is in reference to a Pro Horizontal Filmstrip inserted display, please contact our support team directly with any questions or concerns for NextGEN Pro displays via your member’s area at https://imagely.com/support/

@modanmc – Thanks for the update … you might be able to exclude NextGEN Gallery assets from WP Rocket Cache as another alternative.

@artbiz – The migration to another server may not have completely moved NextGEN Gallery as needed. Please try our external Reset Tool plugin here: https://bitbucket.org/photocrati/nextgen-gallery-reset/get/default.zip
To install and activate, go to Plugins > Add New … Upload Plugin
To use, go to Tools > NextGEN Gallery ResetWe do not offer specific support for the Reset Tool plugin as is but it can help in many circumstances, please let us know if it does.
Thanks!

@modanmc – There are a few JavaScript errors on your site which I cannot identify why they would be occurring although I suspect a conflict with another active plugin or your current theme as the most likeliest places to look.
Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins, clearing your browser cache (and site caches if you are using a caching plugin), then reactivating the NextGEN plugin?
If this fixes the problem then it was likely one of the deactivated plugins that was causing an issue. Now, retrace your steps activating each plugin and re-checking to see if the problem returns. If it does then that last activated plugin was probably the one. Keep reactivating and in most cases it is also best to keep checking after each plugin, sometimes there may be more than one plugin on a site that will create an issue. If you do find one (or more) plugins causing this problem we would greatly appreciate your feedback on them so the developers may address them as soon as they can.
Also to note, in rare cases it may be the theme itself that is causing a conflict so while you have just the NextGEN plugin activated you might consider temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress Twenty series themes and see if this corrects the issue as well.
If the problem still persists after all of this we would still want to know, even more so, as we will still want to sort out the issue and may need additional details.
Thanks!

@anzart – It would seem your web host is putting you in an untenable situation. We are not seeing this issue in general although as noted it has been host specific when it is reported.
The only thing I can suggest is not a configuration problem with NextGEN Gallery so much as a conflict with another active plugin or your current theme. You may need to work with your web hosting service to allow you to test with only a default WordPress Twenty series theme active and just NextGEN Gallery.
You can try using our Reset Tool plugin which will set the NextGEN Gallery plugin back to its installation defaults although, again, I do not see how any specific setting within NextGEN Gallery would cause this error to trigger (at the HUGE volume of error log entries) especially given your web host has noted NextGEN Gallery is working without issue elsewhere in their hosting servers.
Here’s a link to our external Reset Tool plugin: https://bitbucket.org/photocrati/nextgen-gallery-reset/get/default.zip

@ufpst – You might see some use from this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ngg-smart-image-search/ … and tag the images as needed for the bib / race references.
Thanks!

@meet1347 – You submitted a Bug Report for this same topic. As is, all we do recommend is providing your visitors with a plugin as unfortunately the WordPress search functionality tends to leaves things to be desired.

@michelemj – There is also an option within the customizations accordion panel to set so the slideshow text link does not appear on the display.
Thanks!

@bambino82 – Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas on this feature request here: https://imagely.com/feature-voting/ especially since this would be an enhancement to NextGEN Pro.
Thanks!

@bambino82 – Although not our official documentation the general idea is correct although as to why you are not seeing that button is a different issue. Can you provide a screen capture of the gallery header panel where you are not seeing this button?
For an enhancement to the scan feature set I would recommend putting that forward as a Feature Request item here: https://imagely.com/feature-voting/
Thanks!
