In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Error fixing redirectsAfter further inspection, it turned out that the redirects were no longer redirects and they were getting 200 results – but they were still listed under redirects. Strange. Nothing was really wrong. Thanks for the quick response. Hopefully this will be some good feedback for the next version of this plugin. I love it and find it very useful for all of my clients’ sites.

In reply to: [InfiniteWP Client] Worst backup app on the makretI don’t see the strength of this software in backups. I see it in day to day maintenance. Spend the money on backup buddy and use this for your everyday. This is a pretty good piece of software as far as I’m concerned. Oh, yeah, and it’s FREE so you are welcome to a refund if you like. 😉
I totally would – if it were my ticket . 🙂
It very well may be a custom post type. I’m going to deactivate it. I guess the plugin was just being proactive and creating the sitemap on it’s own in anticipation that it had valuable info. I don’t even know where the instructions came from to create it. Thanks for the help on this – both of you! I’ve dropped this solution on every other thread I could find in an effort to direct people to this one and save you the emails/contacts. Just trying to do my part.

After some less than delightful interaction with Joost de Valk, I got this answer. Hope it solves all of your problems. I’m still experiencing some difficulties but much of mine were fixed with this:

For my author’s sitemap, yes. Aweesome. But for the filter_group-sitemap.xml I’m still getting 404’s
What if you don’t use W3TC? Because I don’t. This used to work GREAT for the longest time. It just seems to be the last few versions were dropping the ball. Will Yoast ever respond to one of these threads???
same here. would love to know how to fix this.
I have the same problem for a few of mine – the author one is the big issue for me
I get 404’s on a few of mine.
