  • I think you may need to disable, save and enable XML Sitemaps again for it to work

Turned out to be something flaky with the Prevent Catching exception list (W3 Total Cache). Narrowed down by briefly disabling the Browser Cache.

Took the Prevent Catching exception list contents of the box, copied out to notepad, emptied box, saved settings, copied notepad and pasted back into box and saved…..

    Site map displaying ok now.

    Weird!

WordPress SEO by Yoast is a Great Plugin!

Wilflare, thanks for your feedback. It got me back into tinkering to resolve the issue!

Finally had to back down to 1.63 of WordPress SEO by Yoast. Found issues with SEO failing to update wjile editing posts.

1.63 is back in place and working!

is there any way this can get fixed?

After some less than delightful interaction with Joost de Valk, I got this answer. Hope it solves all of your problems. I’m still experiencing some difficulties but much of mine were fixed with this:

Marked as resolved. I need to do further investigation with 1.7 when I have time. Don’t have the time for 1.7 at the moment. I have moved back to 1.63 on one site and pulled WordPress SEO by Yoast off of another site! Running it on All in One SEO for now.

Same as the rest here… it appeared to be working then upgraded at first it messed up sitemaps on two different sites now it’s slowing the sites down too much to be useable.

Been using for years and was thinking about buying 1 or two of the upgrades but it’s become a monster… too big and too long to load.

I’m about to disable and I don’t use w3 cache. Appreciate knowing if any fixes come along
